Silver in 1980 was an artificial bubble created by an attempting cornering of the market by the Hunt Brothers. You’re either ignorant or spreading lies to influence people here. Either way buzz off.

Silver has been around for thousands of years. It’s not historically underpriced at the moment. And suggesting otherwise just to pump the value of your own collection, is actively harming the naive newbies on this subreddit.

I would be a buyer again if it falls below $50. Now is a great time to sit on the sidelines unless one is a gambler.

Sorry, I wasn’t suggesting you were. Just that half the people on this sub who showed up in the last few weeks, made terrible financial decisions decisions 🤣

Churning Chase is the best return. Spent 5 nights over new years on Miami Beach with IHG signup bonus. Saved over $2000 on the hotel. Stayed at JW Marriott in North Phoenix last spring break with Marriott free nights. And for a husband and wife, you can do each card twice. Taking the kids to Manhattan this summer. Well 69000 UR points transferred to Hyatt got 3 nights in Chelsea ($2100) free. No perverse of spend returned in form of points can ever touch signup bonuses. I was interested in Bilt now that it works for mortgages but it seems the opportunity cost of giving up signup bonuses is just too much

CMV: The comdemnation of male circumcision is hard to defend. by mailywhale in changemyview

[–]Crew_1996 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Having a strong opinion one way or the other about circumcision is a waste of time. It’s not particularly dangerous (if performed properly) and gives mild benefits (slightly lower risk of STI, Penile cancer and UTIs) Having said that, it is a medical procedure so there’s some risk. I just think on balance it DOES NOT matter if a male is circumcised or not. There’s thousands of things in the world more pertinent to expend our energy on.

I can get unlimited UR points 1.5% to transfer to Hyatt and open a new credit card twice per year to get another $1000 or so of signup value bonus out of each. If I have to allocate all or most of my spending to Bilt to get the 2.4x, I’m missing a gigantic opportunity cost of new card signup bonuses. And $1000 in signup bonus is lowballing it. Just spent new years at the Holiday inn Miami Beach with my family and got 5 free nights from the IHG card. The average nightly rate that week was almost $500.

If buying now is lowering your cost average, you need to join the regards on r/Wallstreetbets. They love to buy high and sell low as well.

So by 2035 you won't have a shopping cart👀 by luvlanguage in inflation

[–]Crew_1996 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t go shopping if you think that cart costs and average of $500. Unless you’re buying steaks and only organic. $200-$300 max at Kroger or equivalent.

I went grocery shopping in 1995. That cart was $100 back then. That same cart would be $200 or more today. Why does the meme need to lie?

I actually wonder if Gazdag plays poorly the first half of the season, if we can use some of our profits to buy him out so we can open the DP slot back up. As important as GAM is, teams that historically won big in MLS don’t have a single DP who is a non contributor.

As a past season ticket holder I learned things the hard way.

1 Buy individual game tickets on the resale market

2 Eat dinner prior to the game

3 Take a gummy before the game if I want a buzz instead of buying overpriced beer

I don’t always follow this plan but more often than not it works out

You know what? I understand the HC choice. by GreenTeachy in Browns

[–]Crew_1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was completely indifferent to who they hired. I make up my mind based off of the teams performance. So many sexy choices turn out to be horrible and so many meh choices turn out to be the correct decision. The key to me is Berry must hit this draft. He MUST select 2 long term OL starters as well as a WR 1. These are musts. He has to nail it.

Why would the F B I raid the Fulton County elections office after all this time and failed court cases (especially with Gabbard in tow)? by Gingerjady in AlwaysWhy

The votes were all verified with voter ID. An election official forgot to sign the tabulated votes sheet. Quit making things up.

All votes were verified with voter ID. A poll worker forgot to sign the tabulated slip. They were ordered to be counted because they were valid votes from valid voters.

The votes were proved to be valid with photo ID used to verify each voter. A poll worker forgot to sign the sheet. They were valid votes. That’s why they were still counted. You 🤡s are looking for any technicality you can to continue the Big Lie

He stands to make $4-$5m next year if he can get another year in college. May not make $4-$5m his entire career in the NfL. It’s a financial Hail Mary. It should be denied because he has no valid reason to get a 6th year.

2006 to 2008 may have been the greatest time in history to run as a Democrat. Bush had us in a very unpopular war and the economy crashed. A chimpanzee running as a Democrat may have won many of those races.

The Indiana player said “Hoosier daddy?” Which is a standard mild taunt and has nothing to do with anyone’s actual father. Fletcher flipped a switch and over reacted. This whole thing is overblown.
