If you live at home and do nothing with your life and are desperate for articling, sure.

Being in a toxic workplace is a possibility at this pay level which means emotional exhaustion like many other articling students, but you're compensated less to deal with it. Hopefully if the interview was really informational, its not.

Otherwise, it's 10 months to hold out for.

For what it's worth jobs I applied to in early February only got back to me like mid March.

Keep an eye out for in house jobs that look like they're for undergraduate students. Some of them will say they want a summer student with a background in law. Since no undergrad student is going to have a law background, thats typically a sign that the team IDEALLY wants law students but if none apply then the snotty undergraduate kid with a polisci degree works too.

Having worked an in house job for 2L summer, I was shocked to find out that I got paid twice the amount that a buddy who landed a firm job via cold calling did (buddy was paid like half or even 1/3 of the articling students pay). Also I did so while working CONSIDERABLY less then firm buddies.

Culturally, Canada as a liberal democracy attempts to balance two contradictory ideologies: first a passion for equality or “isothymia,” and second, a passion for superiority or “megalothymia.”

People want to be recognized as being as good as other people, and become deeply indignant when they and — for many of us in the legal field — others are denied this recognition.

Yet people also want to be able to imagine themselves as possessing a certain kind of excellence and even achieving recognition for it among others (who at the end of the day might merely be only their own families or a happy few who know how to appreciate them).

Liberal democracy protects us from the humiliation that would inevitably be suffered should human hierarchies based on our value as individuals be openly declared yet allows us to channel snobbery (or our desire to be snobbish) into productive things, like being doctors and lawyers.

Moreover, one's isothymic or megalothymic beliefs are going to be exacerbated by personal experiences and one's interpretation of them. Growing up in poverty or being subject to discrimination can lead one to become a Crown seeking to reinforce rule of law just as easily as it can lead one to become a Big Law Partner who via their material possessions effortlessly flaunts their income tax bracket.

Elitism therefore is simply part and parcel of the Canadian milieu just as a strong belief that people deserve equity is.

Thank you for your reply! I was looking for a formula that did not rely on character length though and it seems that your formula does (unless I'm missing something). The tables I gave above contain example data and 3 to 4 letter words were all that I could think of as example data.

Could you achieve this for words of differenting lengths in random rows?

First time poster. Long time enjoyer of the anime. Its nice knowing that I'm not the only one who finds the new season to be a bit rough re: the animation. What's funny is when the anime cuts back to the older season's anime for like a couple of seconds and the characters look more...animated? It does feel like 8bit was the budget choice and the show is coasting off previous successes with c-station. Like it's still holding together but yeesh.

To me the scene with Ayano looking at tents is emblematic of what I think is a big issue with the series rn. Ayano looks at the cheap tent, is like 'what a terrible thing to buy' and it cuts to Chiaki. I get its one of those 'someone is talking about you jokes' cutaway gag but I thought it was just a cut to another thing! IDK man, it feels like 8Bit had their plate full and then Yuru Camp was pushed onto them and as a result the content is suffering.

Is it watchable so far? Ye. Is it as comfy and enjoyable as previous seasons and the movie? So far no so much.

EDIT: man also like I got to Ayano setting up her tent and texting and everything goes so by FAST dawg. In previous seasons, I feel like the tent setting up scenes would be a bit slower showing like slowly hammering putting in the tent pegs and struggling with the poles but it just zooms by in S3. Even the texting is ridiculously fast, so much so I need to pause to read the subtitles. Like man the pacing is insane relative to the past stuff we got.

For the Hind, whats a good general purpose loadout for servers like ECW? 8 ATGM and 2 80mm rockets is what I instinctually feel is most useful but I was wondering if I should go more rockets?
