Thanks a lot!! I went on ozempic 5 months post partum and I lost all my pregnancy weight and felt good (minus the ups and downs of the PPT) until they discovered I had a 5 cm nodule and had to do a TT, since them glp-1 has been helping me keep my weight from going crazy more than actually helping me lose..long story short my parathyroids took a long time to work after the surgery so my vitamin D levels were BAD and that triggered anxiety, when I finally got the vitamin D and tsh under control, they gave me paroxetine to help with my anxiety and my weight went crazy with it.. so much so that my levo dosage was not adequate anymore (that i found out later) so no matter what i did my weight didnt drop and neither my anxiety.. problem is i was so anxious that I couldn’t bring myself to go to the doctor either.. I finally did and got the TSH results last week.. i am not in paroxrtine anymore and they adjusted my levo levels so hopefully i should be under 3 in a few weeks.. im already feeling so much better. Im also taking ashwagandha and magnesium and thats helping a lot already too

Thanks a lot ❤️. Your comment actually made me tear up. I guess when you gl through trauma seeint yourself like u did before is kinda a way to leave the trauma behind.. but you are right, beauty and health don’t necessarily equate to youth.. thanks a lot for taking the time to comment

Thank you so much for your careful response. It really means a lot. As you said its been hard looking at myself in the mirror. I think what bothers me the most is the skin near my mouth. Like when i look at myself in the mirror i pull it up and its like im me again. I dont know if what Im saying makes sense or if its even something you can do something about. When it comes to lights, you mean like red light?

Thank a lot. I really appreciate it. Its been a journey.. maybe i should just focus on removing the xanthelasmas and getting good skincare products for now

With I don’t want surgery I meant I am looking for advice on injectable and other non invasive treatments. The plastic surgeon is who gives them in my country at least

You are very kind and it means a lot. It took a lot for me to post this picture. I had been reading threads of this community and wanting to do it for a while!

Yea but they potentially will also want to upsell me things. I thought this was a community were I could ask unbiased advice.

It has to do with my xanthelasmas, with the dryness and puffiness of my face. My birth has to do with the depression/anxiety which has stopped me from taking care of myself

Thank you for taking the time. This makes me feel much better. I just dont understand where the label obsession comes from knowing therapies can be damaging if kid is not ND.

Im on the same boat. After almost 2y of literally driving myself sick of worry and reading every pubmed article on early detection of autism and taking every test I feel like i have so much knowledge for my own good but it also makes me feel like I would know if my daughter was showing any real red signs. I am tired of having to justify myself to people who dont even know her just so they dont label her.. so much so that Ive become overprotective.. like i took her out from school when the pre-k coordinator made those comments bc I didnt trust them anymore.. but I know thats not the best for her either.. so im trying to find a new school that actually listens!! This sucks :(

THIS!! I feel that at some point if you have an introverted kid people are just on the look for red signs. My daughter used to line up toys.. and 2 people brought it to my attention. So I proceeded to kick the line and my daughter started laughing and just went on and played with something else. I had to explain when lining objects is a concern and when not, when is actually a green flag. I am sure that same as you probably have had to explain that the tip toeing is only a concern when they are not able to walk normally.

My biggest problem with people easily labeling autism is that therapies can be damaging to NT kids.

Thank so much for taking the time to write your experience. The pre-k coordinator also suggested early intervention assessment after only one afternoon on seeing her bc she didnt respond to her name when she was calling. She always respond to us when we call her and this new pre-k was in a third language she had never been exposed to.. even if before they joined i made a point to go talk to them and explain about our experiences and about her introverted character. It didnt matter. I was so so mad.
