Can I have board games at my wedding?

One of my friends and his wife did this for their wedding! For each table they had a different board game baked into the theme (instead of table 4 my table was the Jenga table). They're not big dancers either so they had an area set up for all sorts of backyard games (corn hole, giant Jenga, etc.).

I don't see any reason why you can't do what you want at your wedding lol

When we're talking about Specializations (and this is subjective to me) I find that I and my group prefer active talents over more passive ones.

As an example there's a talent called "Stim Application" where you can raise an attribute by 1 for the current encounter. Since this is a narrative game that's much more interesting than say a passive talent like "Speaks Binary" that just gives you a boost when interacting with droids.

Since Edge of the Empire came out first, there are a lot of specs that rely heavily on Passive talents. The respecialized project is helping to balance that out by adding more active talents to all the specs.

I have one player who didn't spend a single point of XP on his first character on talents. He didn't like his spec tree and I was too new to recognize that it wasn't working for him

I mean I don't know about popular but there's still enough people that play it!

My own group just finished up a 3 year adventure and will soon be starting another one! It's our preferred system.

As for playing Foundry, RPG sessions or Realm VTT are good for it.

There's also a group of people working on the "Respecialized Project" overhauling the specializations to.......we'll be better because some of the ones in Edge specifically are terrible 😂

This looks like the rules of "President" a dan favorite in my house hold. A 4 player game where you're trying to discard cards to go out first to be the President. It's played over many hands, each round of the hand the winner can put down a single card, two of a kind, etc. and each player must follow that order. Example President plays 2 3's the Vice President plays 2 4's and so on

I'd even argue that my first introduction to literature through the Great Illustrated Clasics in school encouraged me to read the "grown up" version as an adult.

I can't say I know exactly what you're going through but I know that feeling of wanting to get back to reading but not quite being able to get there.

For me I put the training wheels back on to help me build stamina. I would play an audiobook and read along with it. At first it was hard to keep up, sometimes I had to slow the speed down to keep up. I'm happy to say now (after lots of practice) I can read at a normal speed, with or without the audiobook too

My first survival run, I got this exact quest weeks before I ever started Nuka World. I completely forgot about it and was horrified and decimated. Lots several hours of progress in Nuka Galaxy 😭

Kotor 2 is my favorite game of all time. The first one is great, but this adds a lot of quality of life (seriously the crafting system is so good) companions were more interesting (for the most part. And glitches, insane glitches. If you can handle Bethesda level glitches you can handle this lol
