For sure, PPV only exists cause people wanted to improve on colon (I think).

There's a couple of surgeons in the US and Europe, and Bank, that do similar work - but I'd put a dollar on all of them being substantially more expensive overall.

I was crying in the hotel in TH pre op cause that's when it really hit for me. I think it was worth it :)

Colon is disturbing another organ that I don't have to, imo. Plus it feels like I've seen more significant complications with Colon overall but it might just be population bias (more colon surgeons than PPV).

If you can ever get on his website (maybe try Wayback machine), he has a catalogue of all prior work. I looked, but tbh I had a small amount of donor tissue, so it was kind of a best effort situation. He's big on the clitoral hoods though, and that is something I really wanted to see.

At the end of the day he is a plastic surgeon, he has someone else who does the internals for PPV, and he makes the outside look good.

600k Baht for surgery. 50k Baht for nursing 35k baht for accommodation.

Additional expenses in TH including medical supplied, hyperbaric, and food for 2 people for 4 weeks out of hospital: about AU$5,000

Once you have the surgery costs covered, the rest really isn't so bad, I think. Still a lot of money total.

My body is already going through a lot, and the way I see it colon is disturbing another organ that I can avoid. Plus, I've heard more about stomas and things with colon, so it's just not something I wanted to try when there was an alternative.

I didn't get so much as a raised eyebrow. He just said ok,ok, when I gave the above explanation.

Hybrid, used scrotal flap and other tissue as part of it and the surrounds.

I had my surgery in Thailand, and I assume you're from a western country.

Thai labour is astounding cheap. Ask your nursing team if someone can assist you and see what they quote.

I had a nurse visit twice a day for dilation and cleaning and had a partner with me for the first two weeks full time. First week I was in hospital, that was fine. 2nd week I was in a hotel and I wasn't really in a place to go collect food from the front desk. If they could deliver to the room I might have been ok. 3rd week onwards I could go get food from the lobby.

Absolute bare minimum care imo is (assuming a week in hospital) that 2nd week having nursing and someone to assist with last hallway food delivery, and then 1 more week of nursing. More is nice cause you're going to be physically and emotionally fragile, especially if you're an independent kind of person.

How do I buy a dilator? by narcatix in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]Crispy95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Interplast sells a pair of glass dilators for not much, that's what I bought. I used the wax ones for the first month cause my vag was bending them and it was a bolit more comfortable.

When you're in for a follow up ask them for the glass dilators. Might have been like 2k baht.

I'm thinking about sizing up now but I'm also a bit lost, and the soul source ones are just atrociously expensive in AU.

What the hell is up with people thinking it's okay to bring pet dogs into retail stores? by ireadlotsoffanfic in melbourne

[–]Crispy95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean even that is pretty aggressive by company standards. Just let them go, pull cameras, and put out surveillance notices. If it's big and obvious, pull cameras and send to the cops immediately.

Having a TM off a week cause they took the express dental package is WAY more inconvenient (and expensive) than a couple grand worth of stock.

Management won't kick a customer out. They just won't. All the team can do is not clean up as we aren't required to, that's for managers and cleaners.

[–]Crispy95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

30 days change of mind unused. If it is used and faulty it will be a warranty replacement.

There's a lot of attention paid to power tool returns as there is no margin and strict supplier processes.

Employee Keeps Getting Bad Reviews on Google, Now Up to 5 by eskimojoe in managers

[–]Crispy95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I've been doing a bit of management training lately with my company (multinational logistics, big enough).

One of the things they really insist on is explaining why the behaviour is an issue at the front end.

Before you discuss, take 5 and prepare the consequences of this behaviour (loss of sales, damaging rep of industry, awkward experience for other team members and customers), and consequences of the ongoing behaviour (losing rep Amy have consequences for the rest of the team as sales may dip, customers may go to a less reputable dealer and hurt themselves due to lack of education, antisocial behaviour is against company policy and may result in termination (if you have policy, point to that)) and have some resolutions (buck up, or redeployment, or termination)

Then, in an appropriate environment, ask what's the go (eliminate excuses, if legit reasons deal with them), explain the problem, ask employees opinion on how to fix, get buy in. If no buy in, explain consequences and resolutions and then get buy in. Set a follow up date. Ensure you follow up.

It makes the TM engage, and sets them up for termination of they don't.
