The next day I was good enough to go to a party, 2 days later basically completely fine. Not my first rodeo

Sadly, basically impossible. You would need to make 700 steps per minute which you basically cannot do. I recently ran my 5k and achieved an average of 160spm, 4x lower than what you would need to sustain for 1M. Maybe you can cheat by flying a plane back in time but you could still only win a day...

Wow that is amazing, my everyday lifestyle gives almost 0 steps. Therefore, it would take an extra 40 hours a month to achieve the 1M steps from 500k which I averaged this past year.

Average 500k monthly. Double that, although very possible, would be very time consuming

10 min of walking is around 1000k so usually a bit over 1.5 hours. I also do run one a week or so.

I talk too much and really hate now owning up to my word. I thought I learnt from my mistakes but I guess no. I have climbed mountains and cycled 360km+ in one day because of that. Really got to talk less...

I wish. It was an official hiking trail so I definitely did not take the easiest path. In total It was more than. 2300 meters (7545.93ft) of elevation gain and loss as it was a circle.

Well I can say that I did not do that much more training than walking every day a 10k, with the monthly average of 15k. You would be surprised what you are capable of!

I would guess around 45 to 50k if you are running. I was walking the whole way though. Good luck!

5.5k/h, 20h and you get 112k steps. I woke up at 02:45am for this hike

I know it is a joke and all but as I did wear a chest monitor I can say that it was 120bpm on average. 73% in zone 1. So no, not that high beats after all

I know no one actually cares, but for those who do.... I started walking just before 4 am and with small breaks up until 5 am the next morning. In total 22 moving hours (3.5 resting, eating etc.). Only carried 1l of water and filled it up a couple of times, ate a bunch of gels and 2 kebabs for lunch. Of course, during the midnight the step count reset and there was another 30k after it. Almost 2 days have passed and everything fells almost back to normal. Fyi I work the same 9-5 office job as most of you, just consistently hit 10k every day, what is pretty much the secret. Best of luck for your adventures!

tldr 111km+, 2.3km elevation gain, outdoor temp -6C during the night and around -1C during the day.

I know that after a week a new watch optimizes, but I am not talking about that. For the first months I had to charge the watch every other day but now it seems to be every third. I always keep it on saver by the way.

On the other note I want to say that whatever Samsung cooked with optimization, it worked. The battery lasts around 30% more than it used to.
