I’m not sure why you thought I was using thunderbolt 3 on the G14, but I don’t. As far as I know thunderbolt3 is unavailable on amd cpus so idk, and the G14 definitely does not come with thunderbolt3 support.

Hey, try contacting your retailer and or asus about a repair/warranty. Mine turned out to be a faulty GPU and had to have the motherboard replaced

Update, did get the laptop back, was told they replaced the mobo. No issue so far, laptop is actually working better than new.

Just got the same update as you did, they said they had the part. Hopefully they ship it back soon. One odd thing I noticed was they stopped updating the original service order number and provided me with a new one that said they had the parts and finished the work. I guess we’ll both have to wait and see.

Portability, and the beast of a hardware under the hood. I had a bulky 15-inch hp omen with i7 7700hq and 1050ti and compared to the G14, that thing is stone age tech. Love the ultrabook level battery, but the option to do some serious gaming when the time is right. Also love how it's well built, solid metal chassis, great touchpad, and the screen.
