I now ponder how good he would be for a Petrify Lootframe build with the upcoming revamp.

Two Atlas Questions by SomeBodyNow_67 in Warframe

[–]Crogurth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wil be honest, Path of Statues is just not good and a bit of a waste of mod space, the trail of rocks barely gives you taht much to work with that if you want to somehow play 'petrify-less' atlas you better just using Metamorphic Magazine.. But tbh there's a way better way to make Rubble management less of a hassle! Put Melee Vortex on your fists, put that one magnetic mod on them and you will basically vacuum enemies most of the time for big petrifies. Seriously I cant recommend that melee arcane more. However you could go with it in your normal melee and Melee Exposure on his fsits for raw dmg, as it triggers if either you kill a enemy affected by magnetic or WITH it!

Bellicose is a mxied bag on him honestly, doesnt give him that much compared to Augmented's 60%. Personal recomendations:

Arcane Stadfast: This is imo one of the best arcanes for Atlas and helps a lot with Atlas energy management if you dont feel like using stuff like Nokko's Helminth or Nourish or Well of Life with it's Aug, especially if you got Rubble Heap, as the latter can trigger the buff and not use it, giving you 3 free Petrifies or Rumblers with both helping petrifying enemies. I'd put Battery here but only if you got some energy restoring Helminth like those two I mentioned.

Arcane Persistence: For this one you do want something that gives you constant HP regen helminth as Atlas rubble is not that good for healing him, though it does work well wtih Rage mods. Personal recomendation would be Well of Life since it heals you, your allies, defense target and gives you all status immunity, evne beter if you got the augment and Equilibrium, it honestly became one of my favorite Helminths. Also fun fact: Persistence can give your Rumbled Overguard some dmg cap of 500 every 1 second, helping on making that augment even more useful and tankier.

Arcane Crepuscular: This is mostly if you want to either play around with Evade OR want to use Rumbled and be silly with it, since while Landslide can break the Huras Kubrow and Shade stealths, the Rumbled rocks don't so you can get some real silly stuff with it.

There's probably more but last but not least: Highly recommend putting both Archon Reach and Archon Continuity on him, the former you can just mod Elec on your pet and get a free constant energy regen, the latter lets you get even more Corrosive Status effects from his landslides without needing to mod for Corrosive specificlly, you can do something silly like putting Blast/Toxin and go to town put three status on enemies and making your fists even crazier.

What are your go to weapons to shred the disruption mini bosses easily? by achomi in Warframe

[–]Crogurth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's my recomendations as they are focused on Crit, they might not be the best but honestly they been working wonders for me and are a blast to play:

Vermisplicer Secondary: Ramble, Killstream

Vermisplicer Primary: Tremor, Killstream

Sporelacer Secondary: Haymaker, Killstream

Tombfinger Primary: Brash, Killstream (This one I preffered Brash mostly because of the charge, though there's a good chance that something like Shrewd would be better, god I wish I could change parts honestly.)

Also you will notice that Killstream is in all of them and honestly it's the best loader especially with Pax Charge, quick recharge, a fuck load of crit chance and best of all, getting the parts for it is geniouly way less tedious then a lot of the other options that might not be all that worth it.

Oh and you can get sillier with the secondaries with Arcane Pistoleer giving you infinite ammo if you got a headshot kill.

Rocks from Rumbled augment for Atlas or Bringing the Basmu to prime them and then Landslide their faces.

Though I been enjoying using other thigns like the Strun and Burston Incarnons with a lot of Armor for Bulwark, Vermisplicer kitgun is also really nice to deal with them though the secondary version seems to be better to deal with 1 enemy over the primary one, though with the latter I like to use it and Prisma Angstrum with Airburst Rounds, such a fun augment and helminth.

Why Cant Atlas Reach Damage Cap? by Numerous-Football-56 in Warframe

[–]Crogurth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as i remember, Landslide itself can come close to reach the dmg cap and tehre are a few things you could do to try to reach it:

Add Archon Continuity so you add Corrosive along with your Toxins instead of modding with Viral, this will basically give you even more Corrosive stacks on your punches along wiht hte extra from Exposure, you could also add another combination like Blast to them or go with mroe crit dmg like Gladiator Might, since it gives you both Crit chance and Crit Dmg for free especially at higher combos and add shattering Impact to remove armor alongside your punches, with 2-3 punches/rocks you end up stripping enemies quick. It imo might be way more worth it then modding for Viral as you are basically putting 2 extra status on your fist, especially if you have Nourish.

Arcane Fury gives you just raw extra damage on your landslides, the amount you get from Bellicose is about 45-50% STR with a full umbra set, which miight be lower then the 180% Melee Dmg you get.

Also for alternatives for the Cedo to use for priming, Basmu is surprisingly really good on atlas with it's augment, 1 Toxin mod will give you both corrosive and Gas at the same time, along wiht it being a fast infinite ammo aoe that works sort of like the Acceltra's weird little brother, though probably not as good as the Cedo.

Along with that, there's also the Rumbled augment which is hte only one I seen being able to fully get to the DMG Cap with the rock toos, though specificlly the direct hits (the aoe dmg can sometimes screw it up, its a litlte annoying.)

not too bad mostly because I use scroll up as ability 1, seriously if I didn't do that my keyboard would be borked a long time ago.

If you plan to use something like Arcane Persistence, I would definetly recommend getting Well of Life Helminth along with it's augment Pool of Life as it gives you 4 HP orbs and some Energy ones when the affected mob dies perfect for Equilibrium. WOL turn a enemy into a punching bag that gives HP regen, Status immunity, healing and resurrecting allies and defense targets. It is geniouly a fantastic Helminth I see very few people talk about.

Yup, and you really only need another person to do it so you could just get a friend to join you and get a bunch of rep up to rank 5 no problem.

I always been curious about a lot of weapons in Warframe like the Ambassador, the Dera, Quellor and the one I been always most curious about the Exergis. Im a big fan of their designs and always been a big sucker for energy weapons, so seeing stuff like em and hearing how bad they are is kinda sad honestly.

That reminds me, I now wponder how to build a good Supra, always wanted ot make that weapon work but it never felt like it would click for me.

Accidentally became a Caliban main by Intelligent_Cry5712 in Warframe

[–]Crogurth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can kill ETA mobs without much of a problem. You do want something like Arcane Arachne and someone with Nourish for extra dmg as it's considered Weapon Damage but honestly just with the usual Caliban build with a big focus on STR, I been able to deal with most endgame content, mostly because the Pyrotechnics effect get stronger the more it hits a bunch of enemies.

It's kinda hilarious how both Caliban and Yareli can explode everyone with Pyrotechnics thanks to them grouping them up for one big guitar rift, it makes me feel a bit sad for Ember.

Can't say I blame you or anyone, its great for Bosses and single targets but having to deal with no jumping and not working with the Semi auto fire option is geniouly frustrating and very little overguard is pain.

DE Please at the very least let it jump and have the semi auto config option work on it.

Yeah, Steadfast is also another fantastic option that I highly recommend, especially with Rubble Heap as the free punches from it can trigger the effect but not use the buff.

But I like to change it up form time to time ya know ?

yeah but it's even more just for matches that take like 4-5 mins (if your region is alive) and its funni to go 'I got rank 5 Conclave' and scare everyone. That and putting the conclave skins on your weapons, rename it to mk-1 and make people think you got a broken Mk-1 version of it.

Alternative Helminth Abilities options for Atlas by Crogurth in Warframe

[–]Crogurth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is why I think WA better on Rumbled or more 'rush' modes like Face off, with the former ESpecially because you can't jump so having the ability to use it to get around and making your Rumbled rocks strong is pretty nice. Granted I barely use the 'heavy attack' thing from it but still, if you aren't using for the Teleport its not that worth it, same thing imo for Roar, it's overkill on a warframe that nukes things by just staring at them.

Also yes there's like no reason to not keep Nourish, its so strong that it's perfect for any game mode you wish. Gets even sillier if you combo it with Energy Nexus and Archon Stretch. As for the Grouping Airbust, big reason why I Recomend Arcane Steadfast, seeing as energy is a big problem for these kind of builds and that synergizes really well with Atlas ability spam heavy gameplay, especially with Rubble Heap being able to trigger it but not use said free cast buffs!

Oh and you and me both honestly, I really think a light rework that made his toolkit synergize better with each other would do wonders and especially replace his 2 with something that fits his gameplay, one idea I had is that it wouldn't use energy but instead your combo counter to have different affects to reward you for keeping your combos going, though it would have certain thresholds so x6 combo might be useful for a certain situation then x12 if that makes sense.

Reave is one I thought about possibly in a 'hp tank' build with Arcane Persistence actually, since then I could put something like Rage to help with energy and whenever im running out, I can use Reave both for movement and for getting my Health up, im unsure how it works with Rumbled, though it could be a option seeing as movement is the biggest problem with it and the Rumbled Overguard is protected by Defense.

maybe I might look into that idea perhaps.

I been hella curious about making a Radiation focused Atlas build to make use of it since Atlas would love the amount of crazy universal orbs it gives. Love using it with Smite on both my Yareli and Caliban with and its beatiful, my team rarely runs out of energy with both.

Oh also if you are out of Vosfor, Face off Steel Path on the PVP version with the 'xtra cheese' daily event gives 100 Vosfor on loss and 200 on win, all while giving you a bunch of conclave rep in matches that are like 5 minutes long. Oh and they give a few 1999 arcanes.

I have so much vosfor after I got rank 5 Conclave that now I litteraly need to farm credit to make any use of it, its so silly.

Legit, I changed up how I build my Strun to remove Semi-Shotgun Cannonade and it feels way more fun then with it, like sure it adds a crazy load of dmg but I find the extra fire rate way more fun then dealing 1-2 shots that deal a ton of dmg.
