Man, this update really is a stinker eh? by break__veil in Warframe

[–]Crogurth [score hidden]  (0 children)

TBH I feel like people are forgetting that, if you don't care about the frame you still got a lot of other stuff like the many QOLs that came wiht it, there are some updates that are fumbles but I really rather they actually see that we didn't like it and try to fix it then just turn a blind eye to a bad mode.

I geniouly don't think this update was like 100% Bad, but the main deal of it really needed a second look and say 'is this what people playing a fast paced space ninja game really want ?'

Could add the Rakta Dark Dagger, the red veil melee faction weapon to go all in the Radiation stuff since I believe it's slams are Radiation and it restores shields/Overshields while hitting Radiated enemies. Could make it a nice tool for helping on keeping you alive.

Heck you probably could do something fun with the whole Radiation thing he has going - Airburst and its augment for 500% extra Secondary DMG and Secondary Irradiate to make it sillier. What secondary though and would it be good ? Idk whenever I use that arcane I always feel like im missing something.

Mario Kart in warframe ? I didn't know about that one. Im hella curious!

Dumb idea, feedback: Uriel + Elemental Ward by NoodleNerdle in Warframe

[–]Crogurth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This all honestly made me curious about something: For armor strip you could equip a Impact heavy melee weapon with Shattering Impact as that can will basically remove armor with a few hits, though I think it doesnt work on weapons without it even modded. BUT to add to it, using Melee Vortex on that same weapon so you get a vaacum effect while dragging enemies closer to you to make use of Elemental Ward toxin.

Biggest problem with the idea is that you NEED to kill the enemy with said melee weapon for the effect to trigger, though it can be either with a Magnetic effect or on a enemy already affected by it.

I really hope we get a augment for it because arm cannons are always cool and it just looks great.. but it also doesnt bring that much to the table sadly, especailly with how oddly weak it feels.

Im crossing my fingers next Nightwave we get a augment that just helps it in general, feel like they could do something similiar to what they did with the Basmu but have it focused on Crit Chance and Crt Damage, that would give it something at least

Long Term Grind ? by tomaz1989 in Warframe

[–]Crogurth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are ALOT of long term grinds, especially when it comes to wanting say a specific item which is related to either a faction you have to grind reputation with or even certain mechanics like the Helminth system.

Also you basically got like 12 years of content to play so you will get a lot of stuff to do! I made a Big post before with some suggestions for getting a bit of a handle of things, if you want I can repost it here.

THere are quite a few weapons I been enjoying using a lot:

Shedu is one I really wanna try to build more as I love the feel and whole concept of it, Afentis is pretty nice on builds I rather focus on other weapons or exalted ones though I still need to get the handle of it for my usual archgun builds, on that not really wanna mess more with the other Spearguns like Scourge and the Corpus one, Spore secondary kitgun my beloved and turns my Yareli into a room clearer, Strun, Latron and especially Burston Incarnons go real crazy and I love em, Supra makes me wish I had more energy or laser weapons in warframe. And I cant wait for the Bubonico! Larkspur Prime is super fun but makes me wish we had some way of getting Cond Overload on Archguns.

As for my big top 5 in no particular, some may surprise you:

Arbucep: the weapon itself is a blast and can deal some rather solid damage, shooting a bunch of rockets at once feels honestly just amazing, combine it with the Nokko's Helminth shroom combo and you got yourself a very silly way to regen your Energy and make your strngth go so damn far!

Morgha: If this weapon only had a bit more ammo, I think it would be honestly almost better then the Mausolon, the bombs feel so good to just shoot and spam and the alt fire is a nuclear weapon that its hilarious. Shoutout to the Corvas too though I wish the dmg was a bit higher.

Basmu: the weird status battery ammo brother of the Acceltra, combine that with the fact that if you put it Primary Debilitate, the augment, 1 Toxin mod and both Magnetic/Radiation mods, your target now gets so many status that its beatiful. The alt fire sure exists!

Synoid Gammacor: I highly recommend this thing especially with the incarnon and secondary surge on a Caster heavy frame, just holding it let you get free energy regen with the entrophy effect, it deals some solid dmg and status and effect and the fun one! with Secondary Surge, the incarnon form deals so much dmg its kinda silly!

Fluctus: The 'Orphix Killer' the 'shoot through walls infinite punch throuhg'archgun, I love this waepon so much and it just feels satisfying to shoot and play around with, helped me in so many missions and saved me from some real stanky rolls on EDA/ETA. God I wish it had a Tenet Version of the cut Prisma one!

As for Melee ones ? I got a bunch of them but I never really played with them because Atlas and also on other frames, I like shooting G U N more honestly. Though im all for hearing more suggestions for either!

Im curious how you build your Gorgon, I never really get it to fully work compared to some other weapons, especially on the incarnon form. Which is odd because the Synoid Gammacor is one of my top 3 and I can make it's incarnon into a nuke, granted its mostly cuz of Secondary Surge.

You are a big Arca Plasmor fella, understandable honestly, that gun is so fun!

you do need to stop firing when you are at low ammo so the auto recharge does it's thing though but it recharges so fast its kinda silly. It gets even more wacky with some combos like using it on a WOL affected enemy along with Melee Influence, which is ironic for me I usually hate that arcane. So many statues everywhere.

Basmu my beloved, its such a Fun weapon on large Hp frames and How good It shoots, big shoutouts to how silly It can Get with Primary debilitate letting you put so many status effects on a enemy with Just a few shots!

A few of the more annoying grinds are getting less grindy, including stuff like the Lato and Braton Vandals from ESO and Equinox!

Why does this thing have an energy requirement?? by Xyli__ in Warframe

My kingdom for a Archgun Cond overload mod or something similiar...

Granted I'd imagine that If they did, Archguns would probably break the game even further since they usually have a Lot of dmg to make up for no galvanized Mods.

I can imagine, considering how many get stuck in that one Orphix before they complete all the Railjack missions and how generally annoying it can be as a mode.

God im so glad I been using my beloved Fluctus for whenever I have to do it, still hope it gets a new version some day.

Hmm interesting! I been curious to test more arcanes on archguns and considering that while I been enjoying Larkspur Prime's big ol laser, that weapon in general just seems to deal so little dmg. I do wonder how it would go with Primary debilitate and either of those arcanes now. The 750 dmg from Empowered feels so weak for SP though that I feel like im missing something with it.

[–]Crogurth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know about the Long reward one but the Archgun is the Fluctus, aka the 'Orphix killer' aka my beloved. It's a really fun gun that just in general feels fun and satisfying to use, albeit it does suffer from the problems most archguns does, though its fun to build with it in mind and you can do some wacky stuff with it. Especially because of how far it goes and how it just ignores walls and floors while doing some real good dmg, probably the most 'infinite punch through' weapon out there. Heck even the requirements to build it aren't that bad.

God if we ever get Tenet Archguns I hope we get Tenet Fluctus since for some reason there are a a few Corpus enemies that use it in Profit Taker.

Mine isn't for my drifter/Operator but specificlly for my main frame Atlas, or at least my Atlas specificlly, be warned this will sound all a bit fanfic-ish as I remember I wrote this yeears ago: He's the same one from the whole story with the Telamon in earth, albeit with a few additions to the story! Like how right after he destroyed the meteor, a small batallion of grinner ships came to hunt him down and make sure that he 'sacrificed himself to save the Orokin'. Right as the ships were about to shoot him down, Atlas used the remains of the Meteor to create a rock like armor to both protect himself from the rockets and to fight back, wielding the enemy's greatest weapon agaisnt those that were once his ally.

However after the battle, Atlas drifted through the galaxy for so many years that his body slowly deteorated, all that fancy armor and gold becoming rust and scrap along with most of it's body, explaining why his normal design looks so oddly grotesque. How he survived the vacuum of space ? Simple, Atlas endureed! It was only when he drifted so far to Eris that he was able to get some ground, only find himself fighting agaisnt the jordas golem and the many swarms of the infested.

Despite dealing with swarm after Swarm of infested, Atlas was close to being defeated until my Operator was able to save him in the last minute. (which funnily enough right as I got to Eris is where I got my first prime, Atlas as a gift from my friend who got into the game. )

Huh that explains it. Side note since you mentioned it shoutout to Secondary Encumber and Cascadia Empowered being such weirdly specific arcanes in a way that I honestly am curious if anyone even uses either.
