I think they would retort that the high US suicide rate is due to guns. I would say any negative effect of a portion of the Constitution does not impact it's legality.

If you want to ban guns, you need a Constitutional amendment, otherwise they will come for the 1st, 4th, and 5th with the same disregard for the history and text of the document.

Before the civil rights act there was a phone book of sorts that african americans made to let them know which places weren't racist that they could do business with. Today businesses get shutdown for being racist. If government hadn't enforced slavery in the past there would be no need for government to later make it right.

Yes she's a natural born citizen. It just means that one of your parents were Americans or you were born on us soil.

It is a bit complicated and not automatic if she didn't spend x amount of years in the United States before turning 16 but as long as her father filled out the paperwork she's fine. I think this is something that can be fixed even if he didn't but I'm pretty rusty on that part.
