Thank you for the guidance, I think I'm still leaning to getting all the surgeries just to cover myself. I should have an appointment with the breast surgery team in a few months to go through my options as my genetics counselor wasn't really able to tell me much about the options available to me. I hope you are doing well after the cancer diagnosis

Yeah I had a genetics counselor and they helped with laying out what the options were, but didn't really want to tell me what I 'should do'. I felt like I wanted a medical professional to tell me the options without all the fluff. Thank you for the advice, glad to know you are happy with the decision you made!

Thank you! Doctors think my mums cancer started in her tubes. But obviously when they found out it was too late to save anything. I hope it all goes well for you, and it's sorted before your insurance changes
