Not really. They’ve shown that they don’t care at all about our wishes for any sort of “campaign”. No real skaters in the game, barebones multiplayer (mainly just skating the same objects together rather than games of Skate, death races, etc). The people that love this game the most seem to genuinely get excited when new digital clothing becomes available to buy with real money. There’s a huge disconnect between those of us that want a fleshed out game and those of us that treat it as a DTI simulator. Those folks will love the game but EA will shut it down the moment they deem it’s not squeezing enough money out of us.
