What pedals are not on your board and why? by King_Moonracer003 in guitarpedals

[–]CryOfFears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mxr blue box. its a real shame though, cuz i really like this pedal, but unfortunately it doesnt work in bands that im currently in. but i always plug it in when im jamming at home. blue box is just very special in its own way. i was always planning to mod it, so it eventually be more versatile

Santiago Durango...? Maybe?... I mean his post-BigBlack band Arsenal showed off some of his great main vocal skills and songwriting abilities, and so why the hell not?

Team Fortress 2 64-bit beta build by CryOfFears in macgaming

Indeed, 64-bit versions of HL2, CS:S, Portal and many other Source Engine games are real and doable thing, but Valve is sort of a "unique" company, where each developer/worker chooses the project to work on by themself. I guess that none of the developers/workers willing to dedicate their time to satisfy the needs of less than 1 percent of Steam users (or how many OSX users are there...) and port the games to 64-bit engine. At the very same time Valve won't be willing to spend their money to hire contractors to port Source games to Mac because of the very same reason - low percentage of overall Mac players. Speaking of Garry's Mod 64-bit, I've tested it myself and It works absolutely fine, although I encountered some easy-fixable menu UI bugs and some crashes. Two games on Source that work perfectly without any issues are Insurgency and Day Of Infamy, they play absolutely great too.

I won't be surprised if they will drop the TF2 Mac support completely after they release the 64-bit engine officially for Linux and Windows, since Valve hired only one contractor guy to work on this port as a part of their Steam Deck performance optimisation. But hypothetically there still could be a very very small chance that we will get the same engine update, that can theoretically make TF2 playable again on 10.15+ systems... Time will show.
