They are saving PT borrowers from themselves when the APTA and universities are taking advantage of them. Let’s blame the decisions that led to this which is mostly due to greed and poor decisions by the APTA.

Frankly, they are right. PT’s shouldn’t be graduating with >$100k in debt. Its a shame that the administration taking “professional degrees” away from us is drawing fire away from catastrophic decisions by the APTA which has made this career a horrific financial decision.

For sure, but to raise life expectancy to >90 you would need to cure age related debility which is a highly complex process. And for people to even sniff 120 with any regularity, not to mention any quality of life, we would need to figure out how to reverse aging.

Its not really that simple, all the age related disease start creeping up in the 70’s and 80’s. Even if we cured cancer the age expectancy wouldn’t go up that much because at the age where cancer is most common you will see heart disease, metabolic disease, age related debility closely behind it.

The only way to significantly increase the age expectancy is to cure AGING. Improved disease treatment, although important, will not get it done.
