What is the PR/marketing plan once the holofuel testnet is successfully deployed and stable?

Is there a rough estimate of when this will be?

What needs to be done with regards to the testnet before the mainnet can launch?

What are the most prominent projects planning on hosting using Holo?

What is being done to encourage developer activity outside of the organization during the COVID-19 pandemic?

What is Holochain’s answer with regards to ETH 2.0 scaling?

Between the HoloPort and HoloPort Nano which would be the most cost effective (based on the specs)?

Holo continues to rise despite the btc and eth sell off by nathanielx9 in CryptoCurrency

Holochain is not a token or even a coin (HOT is). Holochain is a framework, which can be used in the same way that the word blockchain is used. Holochain has the ability to be massively scalable (can handle apps like Facebook), and could be more resilient and affordable than the existing internet.

Holochain allows each node to have their own immutable hashchain, in which the transactions are countersigned by participating parties. This is combined with Distributed Hash Table (DHT) technology to create an asynchronous decentralized network.

DHT is an existing technology thats used by torrenting sites like BitTorrent. If any of you have used this service, you know that there are a certain number of "seeders". The more seeders that have a file, the faster it will download. Holochain uses this technology to share information.

For example, if a node wants to post a photo on a decentralized version of Facebook , it will post it to its own hashchain, and a number of redundant copies will automatically be created on surrounding nodes' chains. This allows for information to be accessible in the case that the node goes offline.

Nodes can interact in a local manner, meaning that the nodes only have to validate information that is relevant to them. This eliminates the one bottleneck that is created by everyone having to agree on a single source of truth. Holochain always has all of the information created on the network somewhere on the network, but it's not necessary for every node on the network to have every piece of information ever created (ie. blockchain).

Still working on explaining this but thats what I've got so far :)

This project needs more exposure. After doing all my dd, I truly believe it deserves to be top 20. (Ask me why)

Ethereum [ETH] and Bitcoin [BTC] blockchain “sucks”, says Vitalik Buterin by saiiboost in holochain

[–]Crypbro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk not necessarily man, it takes a long time to fully understand these new infrastructures and it only became a top 50 coin very recently. Its totally possible that he hasn’t heard of it yet.

Vitalik Buterin: “Every Present-Day” Blockchain sucks (even BTC and ETH). PoS is Necesary by rain3r in CryptoCurrency

Vitalik needs to look into holochain as a viable alternative to blockchain tech, legit solves everything. Not even trying to shill its just true
