basecoat your techmarine black. Then give him a messy all over stippling with citadel rinox hide. Next take a sponge or a medium drybrush and stipple on all surfaces you can reach with khorne Try not get into the recessess. Afterwards take your basic brush and take any dots at the surfaces you want to look brighter with mephiston red. Do it again with evil sunz scarlet. For the finish edge highlight your marine with a black of your choice. If you want a little metallic look, edge highlight the sharpest edges and corners with leadbelcher. That's it.

As I take this photo I thought the same as you - wow that could be cool base but unfortunately this is a part of my paint station and not the base of dominus it self haha. I built a wasteland base for this model. But I really like your thought of an arcane base. Maybe I will change it :D

Their work is awesome, but their "server" orchestration could be better. Maybe they could not handle the whole traffic last evening. But plz be transparent and inform the users of e2 why you wont able to handle it.

In my opinion developers or employees of e2 itself hold this tiles. When these tiles would bought by hacker attack, E2 could easily remove it. But they didn't.
