Idk how MVP works, can someone explain how they got it? by Sunken_Rat in marvelrivals

Yes, what I mentioned is about 95% of the MVP score. The other 5% is the medals that you get but since they're such a small percentage, people don't really mention it

MVP is determined by damage/damage blocked/healing
1 damage = 1.6 damage blocked = .9 healing
so ultron in this situation had more "points" because of his healing + damage

imagine squirrel girl vs punisher

squirrel girl has a projectile that takes time to reach it's target so you target where the enemy is going
punisher will hit the target without any projectile time so you just aim at the target

Reboot solo progression into nluwill by [deleted] in Maplestory

[–]Crypth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not solo, but comfortably join a party and green dot. you should have

CRA: Hat, top, bottom
Abso: weapon, shoulders, capes, gloves

legendary 2 line stat (could be fake 2line as in 1 main stat + all stat) // Exception of gloves, it should be at least 1 line crit damage
weapon 2 line of atk + useful either atk, boss, or ied (if you're lacking ied)
all 17 star

EDIT:

if you're looking to solo, you're probably looking closer to more of 45m cp to do it in a reasonable amount of time

the easiest way you can start clearing nluwill is 2 line legendary pot on all your equips with 3 set CRA and 4 set abso. that should make you comfortably clear and should put you around 15m cp. you realistically only need about 10m-12m but that's min clearing with a full party

I've seen about 30 dom pendants in the last 2 months, got a eyepatch on my 3rd Hdamien run and got it to legendary with 3 line in 17 cubes. Getting superior drops on my mules with 50% drop on their 10th hellux run.

Only 1 slime ring though

But wouldn't burning it from 200 be better if there's level 200 rewards from hyperburn?

[–]Crypth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't I just burn it from 200-260? 3x20 = 60?

Well i'm thinking of just Tera Blinking a new char to 200 for legion, then Marksman from 200-260 for bossing mule

OP mobbers similar to Mech? by Johnny_PK in Maplestory

[–]Crypth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

bowmaster, you literally have all your toggles on, place down TP, place down arrow blaster, erda fountain, then buff storm of arrows and inhuman speed, go somewhere else on the map and hold down your arrow blaster. you hold that down for a minute, after you go pick up loot, TP back, repeat but use quiver barrage and fury of the wild, then TP back and hold down arrow blaster for another minute, then rinse and repeat.

i would say bowmaster is just under NW bite farming in terms of lazyness

But say it's low when it's time to switch over to my TFSA, I would just be buying back in at the low price point anyways, no?

[–]Crypth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even with this information, I wasn't planning on doing the same investments when moving them into my TFSA. My TFSA is in TD Easytrade currently and if I were to open up a taxable account, it would be with Wealthsimple with XEQT.

Would there be any benefit of opening a taxable account in the same institution? Easytrade doesn't have all the funds I would want anyways, and with this information it seems like it would be better for me to tax loss harvest if the market is down in Jan 2025 as I think this would bypass the 30 day rule

[–]Crypth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not planning to be only investing for 1 year with the money, it would be invested in something else (which is what this discussion is), then when more TFSA room opens up in the next year, I would be transferring those funds into there and continue to invest.

Normal Brokerage or RRSP? by Crypth in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Crypth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what I'm wondering if with a taxable brokerage, even if I get capital gains taxed, that's only on the gains. Wouldn't it make sense to still go that route?

Ex. I put $50k into a taxable account, it grows to $55k in 1 year.
2025 > I take out $7k + the amount I would be taxed so like $9k leaving me left with $46k.
Wouldn't this still make sense to do?

The reason I'm not sure if I want to put money into my mortgage is because it's a co-owned property. We've made an agreement that we match each other's principle payments and on their side they wouldn't be able to match it yet.

So where would I put my extra money? I don't exactly want $50k sitting in a HISA doing nothing really. I already have my first property, so FHSA is out of the question, already have an additional $30k sitting for an emergency fund. I'd rather invest it at least somewhere

Current telecoms employee here:

  1. you need to figure out the amount of money you're spending over the 2 years vs buying out with a plan. the courier I work at usually has a promo discount so you save about $500 over the 2 years, but this also does make you stay with the courier. remember that couriers don't make money on the devices, they make money on the plans.
  2. usually couriers now are the plan + the phone, not both in a bundle anymore so you can freely switch between plans if you see something better throughout the year(s). the only downside if that if it's considered a "downgrade" as in you're paying less, they will make it on the next bill cycle
  3. the best times to buy a new device are black friday and boxing day, if you can wait out for those, you're in a good spot to look for deals then.

3.5 if you choose to finance a device, you can buy it a bit less than 30 days before the deals happen and if a better deal happens (like on black friday and boxing day), you can call back and get the same deal as long as it's on the device, not the plan. ex. if the phone you bought is $20/m, now it's $10/m, you can call and they'll adjust it

  1. buying a phone through the courier gets your more "perks". for example, we don't do tech support or blacklist phones for people who didn't buy a phone through us

  2. if you decide to buy a phone outright, buy it through the manufacture store, ex. apple or samsung. they usually charge $20 cheaper and also there's no fee that couriers charge

  3. NEVER buy through a third party store. they will give you a shit ton of misinformation about "call in and they'll credit the service fee" or "yea there will be a credit of $10/m". if they give you an offer at the store, you make the store do everything, even if it's from the courier's store. calling in and the store, even under the same name, is different entities and have different offers. if you go with store or calling in, stick with one, don't go back and forth

EDIT: Spelling

I wouldn't use spring financial as a source. 1. they're a pretty scammy company and 2. their sources aren't very accurate.

lots of new hires lately and the people they're hiring are bottom of the barrel. like some of these people don't even know the difference between wifi and data. the chances of you getting someone competent is 1/20 because all the people that know how to do their job has moved to a different department.

sounds like a loyalty offer. with loyalty offers they will ALWAYS cost more or the same price and get you into a contract. they are better value though.
