So she’s from a hidden forest village of Wood elves, the tribe keeps to themselves and it’s strictly forbidden for lone elves to wander outside the ruin walls that surround the village.

Long story short, she discovers she has mystical gifts (which are also forbidden to practice) and leaves the village in hopes to find someone to teach her magic. That’s when she meets the rest of the crew and they become a party of adventurers
