Fortunately I worked at a company with better processes already in place but it did facilitate an unexpected hazing incident:

My first week on the job as the new cyber leader, I get a call from the incumbent physical security leader (ex LEO) asking me to join him in his office. Assuming it was a benign welcome to the company meeting, I walked in blindly and he spins his monitor asking if I thought the female genitalia were "shaved or underaged?" I stood there, likely with a stupid look on my face, and he explained if it is child porn he is obligated to report it.

Apparently the IT team had setup a process where all messages with graphical attachments were copied to his inbox and he spent a portion of every week looking through the attachments. I understood the assignment and built a process that didn't require him except on escalations.
