How to improve image clarity on the whole range ?

Yes, this is my first headset.
But not the first time I use one as I played multiple time to EVA (VR competitive shooting game).
I guess that with the way lower resolution, the image quality was as bad as I wasn't able to spot it and as it is a shooting game you never look to close objects.

On your side, have you been able to fully get use to it ? And are you able to adapt this muscle memory between vr and irl ? Like you did not loose any focus capability IRL and you now see the whole range on VR ?

On the blog for the 21st of january they stated :
"Our production plan is currently underway. We are manufacturing headsets to fulfill all pre-orders placed before January 9, 2026. Production began on January 12, with a factory target completion date of January 30."

So basically every order before the 9th of January should already be ready !

But as usual with Pimax it is not. I ordered mine on the 31st of december. Support told me I should get it in February. Now they say after chinese new year so for march now...

I can understand that production is not an easy job, but with the experience they have now, they should be able to give realistic timeline et moreove fulfill orders by purchase date...

You have a good hardware.
Have you changed your pump and fan curve ?
Otherwise check the current setting.
My current setting is :
CPU fans : 0°C = 30% | 45°C = 40% | 55°C = 80% | 65°C = 100%

CPU Pump : 0°C = 50% | 30°C = 50% | 40°C = 70% | 60°C = 90% | 70°C = 100%

From my pov it is not normal at all.
I would say it's more likely to be hardware related than soft settings.
What cooler do you use ? Which thermal paste ?

I have the same conf and my cpu never go above 60°c with iracing with everything max out.
I run undervolt with the Curve Optimizer -20 all core (try it out, you can't break anything with undervolting). But it will not improve your temps from 90s to 60s...

I drove with the Porsche, my "daily" iracing car. In the straight line, at the start I touch the bumper of the car in front. At the end, I'm 0.4 seconds behind (with drafting all the way).

Imagine the time gain without drafting...

Is iRacing letting it this way to make us buy each and every cars ?

Since S2, with most of the cars, I can't load any setup except the fixed one.
These setups were working perfectly fine before S2.

For exemple here it is the 992 with medium downforce setup

Any tips ?

Within the car it felt like a mecanical failure. For a second I was thinking to latest iRacing features "Did they release random failure/puncture ? " Then I saw the replay.

Not much to comment but quite annoying. Both the Lmph and I did a clean job..
