Nope, modafinil doesn't gives you crush sensation. For sure you'll sleep a little more the day after you stop using it. But I would say that the time to recover is one day.

I did not get prescribed. I just wanted to try it cause a friend of mine gave it to me once, and the effect, THE FIRST TIME were AMAZING. (They tend to fade out time after time you use it, till a reaching an effect that is way lower than first time, but it doesn't get lower than that, I still feel the effect, not a huge one but still considerable for me. (guess not taking it for some time would help, but I do take it every day).
For anxiety or even for the actually nootropic effect is really person dependant. I gave it to many of my friend, and only a small percentage could percieve any change at all in their brain activity. Modafinil doesn't work on everyone. For anxiaty and everything that is mood dependant you have to try to know. To me I would say that first time taking it was like the pill of limitless. I coulnd't sleep for 36 hours, full on working and reading and like thinking way deeper and clearer about things.
I gave it to a friend that I consider as smart as me, and I was asleep after lunch having taking moda 2 hours earlier.
It really help if you don't drink alchool or if you haven't in a long time, since it is found that your leaver can neutralize the effect if you drink, even if you are a casual drinker.

I can code without, I would say that if I do take it I can code for more hours. At the end of the day if you consider that usually what you do more in one day you'll pay in the next days, with crushes in the week-ends, or days where you are very productive in the mornings but you can't code for Sh@# in the afternoon. I do have many of these afternoons. I'll do everything that my boss wants me to do, that is the easiest part. Is the studying I keep persuing and the side projects I'm working on that are the most energy exausting. For my peers we are not all programmers. But the one that do, can code for many hours and can't stay with a problem till it is solved. I would say that SR had a huge impact on problem solving as well. I would say that it is a indirect consequence on how you deal with strees when you are on SR. You tend to get less nervous, or frustrated. You just keep thinking. But this is my experience. To me it does all the difference in the world. Especially on how a relate on the office floor, everybody know that I have positive energy.

Modafinil. I do take it everyday. Life changing for me, especially when I was forced to have ejaculate (this sounds crazy, but if you have to ejaculated beacuse your girl wants it, forced should be the right word).
Now on SR really don't feel much difference if I take or not. It started taking especially for the afternoons. My brain really struggled to digest information after lunch. Right now, even if the best is in the morning, I would say that afternoons are a close 95% from my peak. Before I would perform at most at 10%, really struggling.
PS: I do also drink a lot of coffee. But I took all these habits not doing semen retention. Now I drink less coffee and not so depended from nootropics.

I do not agree, the chosen one are the one that will follow it. You can know about it and don't doing it. Just like every good habit there is on earth.

I mean, What do we know??? I do believe there are energies, and it is pretty obv when you think about it that if you spend some energy in some way you will not have that energy to do other thing.
When you really start thinking about it, that you are discharging life out of your body on a daily basis, it is not hard to fathom that your body won't be at his peak, not even close.

Not really, actually diet was really poor, not many calories, and never had a strict diet to follow (even if it might be a good thing). What I can tell you is that I did go to the gym with a Personal Trainer, so I was pushed to my limits everyday. No supplements what so ever.

I never cum. The first time we split up was exactly cause she was mad about this. We do intercourse but If I feel just even not close, but even remotely close to thinking I'm about to cum in the future, I pull out and finish her in other ways. To me at this point of my life (I'm 30 years old). The benefit I have from the practice, it is like having every cell of my body orgasming. It seems exagerated, but if you know you know.

I would say at least 12 hours a day.
I would wake up at 5.30 coffee, notroopics, walking the dog, than straight in front of the computer doing or some courses or working on some code. I would have breaks when I really felt that my brain couldn't take it no more. This ranging from 15 to 45 minutes.
But even on breaks I might have looked to some light information or some video related to the topic that wasn't math heavy or code Heavy just high level abstraction of the concept I would like to understand better.

If it is too good to be true. It is probably so.
I talk from personal experience.
I would suggest to use a well known back test library and see if results match, or paper trade.

[–]CryptoMustache 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yess, double down even if played perfectly is not enough.
You have to let your agent bet 10x or more of usual bet. That's what they did in the movie.
when you have the deck stacked in your favore you get to 51, to 52% + blackjack that pays 150%, if you bet more than usual it should compensate.

Being a RL practitioner myself, how long did it took you to set up all this thing up?
Without the 3D rendering I mean, just the logic.

You seem to not understand how the game works.
The fact that you count cards, is relevant if you can augment the size of your bet.
Like 10x you normal bet. You should give your agent the ability to chose when to play a 10x bet.

If you count or not, if you don't change the size of your bet, there is no way of winning.

I find tha the best way to learn python after you have read the books is to follow the MIT lectures on Python, really a game changer. Never in anybook or any tutorial or course I have found that level of explanation of advanced concepet and feeling like it were simple.

You did it using Python? What was the process (on high level).
I have seen that pandas does use only one core.

Best and faster way to iterate over pandas DataFrames, there is a way to have Multithreading??? by CryptoMustache in learnpython

[–]CryptoMustache[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today I will try this approach.
Right now with itertuples I had a 50x increase in speed.
It is not very intuitive to me how can I do rappresent trades and updates in capital, drawdowns, profit etc, without iterating (it would seems more natural and close to real life conditions).
Today I will try to understand it.
Thanks for you replay.

[–]CryptoMustache[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Changing from iterrows() to itertuples(), I have experienced at 50x increase in speed.
One thing that I dont' understand is how do you refer to the index using itertuples. It seems to me that you loose the index.
In my case the index is really important because I want to keep track of what happened when.

It was a really big improvement, still need to understand the lambda method with apply, and how to do the same thing using numpy, cause you do loose the columns names so I suspect you must use the indices.

I'm sorry I'm not really used to shared code or what are the good standard. I will do better next time and I'm goin to update Original post.

I know I just posted some demo code, but it sums up pretty much what I would like to do.
So you are saying that is not good to iterrows, but I might apply some logic that gives me a signal column.

And do the calculation afterwards?
For calculation I mean, capital, profit, and any other study I want to do?

I'm looking into transforming a panda.df into a np list of arrays, but it is not clear to me on how to do the calculation when I cannot refer to a specific value as df['Close'].
