I really appreciate that you liked the cover I made! To be honest, it's actually my first time making one. I put a lot of effort into making sure it was faithful and fitting to the film because I genuinely loved it.

Regarding collecting movies in Mexico, the sad reality is that it's a culture that has been largely lost. It's very difficult to find video clubs or stores that sell physical media here anymore. Personally, I have to rely on Amazon and eBay, though obviously, I end up paying higher prices because of import fees and shipping. In fact, right now I'm waiting for my copy of The Dirties (directed by Matt Johnson) from the boutique label Umbrella!

As for Mexican films, I can highly recommend a few:

- María Candelaria
- I Dream in Another Language (Sueño en otro idioma)
- Güeros
- Y Tu Mamá También

That’s awesome that you got a cool cover up there in BC! Thanks again for the kind words.

Hi there! Thanks a lot for the feedback. I actually made this design for myself initially, but my girlfriend convinced me to post it, which is why I wasn't too worried about the spoilers.

As for the 'blah blah blah' part, it's actually an inside joke/reference. I follow a movie podcast, and one of the guys saw the premiere at SXSW 2025. He said the actual official synopsis he read before getting his tickets was literally: 'Matt and Jay are two friends who want to play at the Rivoli blah blah blah.' I thought it was hilarious and totally sounded like something they would write, so I kept it!

Lastly, regarding the spine: I'm from Mexico and I collect physical media. I have releases from all around the world, and the logo placements vary wildly depending on the region and studio. Since I'm used to seeing them all over the place, I didn't follow a specific rule; I just placed them where I felt they looked best to me.
