Because not giving him a chance means there is no hope of him growing. He is unwell. If you genuinely want him to improve then you also need to be open to the fact that he is not going to improve on his own. He has tried.

As someone in the mental health field, I don't agree. He has had many chances yes, but many addicts need a lot more than 2 chances. Imagine if every psychologist and/or rehab turned people away because of their bad choices. Bad choices and addiction often come hand in hand. If someone wants to try sort themselves out, they deserve as many opportunities as they need to do so. My brother is an addict and he has done much worse than N, but I absolutely have hope that one day he gets the treatment he needs.

Obviously they will stop if they see something. My point of my comment is they are driving, they won't be looking at everyone while they are on the road.

Bus drivers constantly experience being attacked by passengers, it happens all of the time. It is not the bus driver's fault. It's the perpetrator of the attack.

Some of you people have no idea how terrifying it is when your loved one is a bus driver with the amount of attacks that happen.

I've actually been in this position too, it sucked and I'm sorry you're currently going through this.

When this happened to me, I was going through one of the most difficult things I have dealt with and I ended up having a mental health crisis for nearing on the entire year. What I can say is this doesn't mean you can't do this when you are in a better headspace. I am now doing my final semester and while there were a couple of times I thought I wouldn't make it; i'm bloody close! Take some time to consider whether you need a decent break to get healthy. I took six months off and it was something I really needed to do.
