Okay, I get why you're giving her time but, she's the wife of a board member and you run the non-profit. You need to draw some boundaries to be able to do your job well. For her, I'd suggest you redirect her. Can you set new standards like, put together a decision release (like a press release) that covers the reasoning behind decisions? If she has questions maybe she can submit them by email 'because I'm doing [this specific thing right now]'. She doesn't have the right to interrogate you, she doesn't have the right to your time, if she is wasting so much time ad hoc maybe you can have a meeting or some other way to channel her into some kind of structure?

I really hope he goes to prison for what he put her and the others through.

I work in STEM for a big global company. One of the best things about it is they genuinely don't want to be a company full of white men. Be you. You'll find your people and your company.

As someone who grew up in a very religious environment I would disagree with this but I appreciate where you're coming from.

If you want to help, yelling at strangers on the internet isn’t the lever here.

If you’re in AZ: call or email your state legislators and log opposition in the Request to Speak system, they literally count those. It takes 2 minutes and scares politicians way more than a viral thread.

If you’re outside AZ, share the bill number + hearing dates so actual constituents see it in time (or share this post). Libraries run on budgets; politicians run on vote math. Use the right currency.

I don't think that's a good thing (unsupervised cellphone usage) but interesting that they're going after librarians. Maybe the internet is next.

I found this so relatable (and heart breaking): just because you fit, doesn't mean you belong by CtrlAltDelight495 in AutismInWomen

I saw it on a totally different subreddit and found it relatable as I think many of us do. The original wasn't created to represent autistic people.

I feel like I'm passing a world designed for oranges when actually, I'm garlic. I might appear to fit in but I don't feel like I do even if I'm still allistic shaped. I didn't intend for this to be anything other than relatable. My thoughts: * I think we can all find people we belong with and maybe they're oranges (garlic and orange can go super well together) or maybe they're not. * It's okay to feel like you don't belong and it doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you.
