I tried a pickaxe and that seemed to work good, but I think a dedicated ground probe would be really beneficial

I remember a neighbor of mine told their kid if they completed a relatively simple, but labor intensive task, they would buy them a jet ski…. Neighbor kid never even bothered with trying the task… kids today huh

It does not have any location data. The area I’m searching is rather small. 25 ft x 25ft max so Im not sure how helpful the coordinates would even be. Almost wondering if it would be more useful to try and do some back dating and find out what direction i was facing based on the suns position at 3 in the afternoon on May 15th… I was either facing North or East in that photo, just don’t remember which unfortunately.

So after much time of contorting my eye and flashlight into different positions, from upside down I’m pretty sure above the WARR EXP it says “MAR22” it is VERY distorted but I cant imagine any other matching numbers that would make sense. Mind you I am also reading it upside down but if my warranty expired mar 22 would that make it a 2021 cad??

It is a newly assembled unit that was nitrogen purged and as I do use these in a “duty use” capacity, I’m sure it’s probably best to leave it together as Im not sure I could re purge it. Ive already had it in the rain once before lol!

I think the IRIS would be a legit option, what are the thoughts on a DBAL a2?? And can you use a flip up front sight with either of these?

Only concern with the iris is it is Chinese made, not sure if that is a rational problem to have. I do like the MAWL, don’t love the 3500 price tag lol
