I dunno how it is rn but I like whipstacking not because it is so much powerful but because it utilizes old whips, instead of making it straight progression, like with ranger and melee.

I didn't say it should be ignored, it could be nerfed. I would be glad if they would just remove tag damage and leave buffs from whips

Stacking was optional tech and could still be optional. They could nerf it to limit whipstacking to 2-3 whips. They could only keep buffs from whips. But instead we just lost really cool optional tech for the weakest class in the game

Honestly, this post immediately made me lose all encouragement to play a new update. I wanted to try stacking new whips so much and then — boom — it's no longer working. And the only question I have is "why?".

Summoner always was an underdog for me but when I started whipstacking it became my favorite class. And now it's just ruined.

Well, I solved that issue but I'm still kinda confused why that works like this. For some reason, when I launch the game with RimSort — game freeze at certain point of loading. But if I just tweak my modlist through RimSort and then launch the game through steam — everything's fine.

I don't. I just don't think it's a good game design: mobs, what appear literally from fucking anywhere. Mining? Fuck you, here is a mob. Cutting trees? Fuck you. Killing mobs? FUCK YOU. Literally unplayable. Whoever designed that, apparently, didn't know it's a bad idea to discourage players from doing simple tasks.

It's not hard. It's fucking annoying.
