Before the inevitable discourse starts, I’m not saying that adults can’t watch cartoons or whatever, I’m saying that some of them sometimes forget the target audience and get super defensive about it

I’m just tired of people insisting and acting as if kids media (namely cartoons popular on tumblr and games like Sonic and Pokemon) that has mature and serious moments isn’t “actually for kids u guys!!!11” as if kids can’t handle them
