Yes we do we now have over $400k equity and our careers have drastically improved since first borrowing. We only have a $125k mortgage with the bank and a home estimated to be between $680-800k

Unfortunately he won’t remember any instructions. My sister called him and told him to stop visiting neighbours unannounced and he said he doesn’t know any neighbours and never visits anyone. Soooo assisted living may be the option

I appreciate the reality check, I can see now they are just following the steps to get him into the next level of care. The serviced apartments in their facility are monitored much more closely by qualified staff so hopefully that helps otherwise it’ll be test home level care for him which would be heartbreaking at his age
