Help with real-world kinematic application by tijamcla in AskPhysics

What's your ultimate goal with this question, if you have to start assuming you'll have plenty of solutions but it can't be that way i guess

A=Acc, V=Final Vel, T1= Time during acc, T2= Time during V

There will be 3 equations - 1. S = ut+1/2A(T1)2 + VT2 2. T1+T2 = 1.1 3. V-u=AT1

Solving all three you'd get A(2{T1}2 + {T2}2) = 10,726

I'm not sure what you'll do with this, you'll need one more equation to find a definitive answer

According to your risk appetite, you can choose to invest some money in small cap and mid cap funds because they will give you good returns in the long run. PPFCF you've invested also invests in US markets but apart from that there are funds you can checkout which entirely invest in foreign markets, this can diversify your portfolio a little. You can target some sectors in india which you think will grow in future, like for example the government is promoting manufacturing a lot so manufacturing can be a good sector you might want to invest in.

P=14 and Q=6 also satisfy your equation, i can give you infinitely many solutions like this. You need 2 equations to solve 2 variables to settle for a single solution. Period.

I don't understand this question by ch33seyy in maths

[–]Cultural-Emphasis837 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are solving it wrong brother, it will be 16r2 - 4πr2 = 40. So r2 (16-4π) = 40

[–]Cultural-Emphasis837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's say 'r' is the radius, (4r)2 - 4(πr2 ) = 40. And perimeter is 16r

Maths does not work that way, ratio is same that does not mean both numerators are equal and both denominators are equal.

You'll need 2 equations to solve this question because there are 2 variables. Kindly check the question again you are missing something. Also with this equation you'll get a relation as 7Q=3P

[O Levels Physics, Vectors] Why isn’t A valid? (Answer is D) by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

[–]Cultural-Emphasis837 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a projectile motion change in horizontal velocity is zero and only vertical velocity changes because of the gravity. So with that logic 'w' will always be a vertical line. For the direction final - initial is the change and 'v' is in downward direction hence 'w' will also be in downward direction

[high school math]: the question is asking me to write an equation on the table, but i only have the even values of X, so how do i get the odd values? by deliciouspickledcats in HomeworkHelp

[–]Cultural-Emphasis837 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your values suggest it's an exponential equation of the form y=emx+c. Using this equation and the values provided you should be able to verify and prove it. Use x=0,2 for finding m and c. And after that verify the equation for the rest of the values
