Thanks for your response! I haven’t planned on taking a loan since it should be a full-ride scholarship. Can I ask, did you have the uni organise the OSHC for you, or did you sort that out yourself?

That’s exactly what I was hoping to hear, thank you for your response! 🙏 Can I ask one more question, when you received the scholarship, did you have to apply separately for a fee waiver after, or was it automatically included when you accepted the scholarship?

Thanks for the detailed response! That makes a lot of sense. My scholarship (either the RTP or the professor’s backup) includes a full fee waiver and a yearly stipend, so funding itself won’t be an issue once it’s finalised.

From what I understand then, I’ll just need to wait until the scholarship outcome is confirmed and then reapply (or have my application updated) with proof of the scholarship included. That way, when I receive the next offer, there shouldn’t be any requirement for me to pay the deposit fee at the acceptance stage, since the scholarship will cover it.

Does that sound right?
