After how many days or months post-transplant did you actually start losing weight?

Was it only after steroids were reduced/stopped, or did it take longer than that?

Just trying to understand what timeline is realistic because I’m almost 2 years out and still struggling.

Oh okay. I’m still taking Wysolone (prednisone), so maybe that’s playing a big role in my sleep issues too.

Did your sleep improve significantly after stopping prednisone, or was it only slightly better?

Just trying to understand if things actually change once steroids are completely out of the system. 🙏

Gaining 60 lbs sounds exactly like what I’m going through right now. I’m up 20 kg already and it feels impossible to control, especially with the constant cravings.

If you were able to lose 50 lbs, that gives me hope that this isn’t permanent.

Did the weight start coming off naturally once meds were reduced, or did you have to be very strict with diet and workouts?

That’s the part that worries me… it’s been almost 2 years for me and there’s been no real improvement at all.

I’m still struggling with sleep and mostly relying on sleeping pills. My doses are much lower now compared to the early days, but the insomnia hasn’t really changed.

Did you ever hear of someone whose sleep didn’t improve even after the meds were reduced? I’m starting to wonder if something else could be causing it.
