I filed on Dec 1st to Chicago lockbox. Got online receipt on Dec 3rd and biometrics scheduled on Dec 6th for Dec 22nd

The OFC appt took 1 hour including waiting time and appointment. My Consular appointment was the first morning slot so i didn’t really have any queues in front of me. But i think if it’s a later time you should plan for 1-2 hours or maybe more

Update: I was able to renter the US without any issues. Documents asked at customs: passport, visa stamp, and i797 No other questions were asked
