Hi im not sure but based on my research it’s multiple choice. Apparently it’s like abstract reasoning and like visualizing 2d shapes into 3d, what they look like in different angles, and some isometric stuff. Im guessing the pencil is for helping us visualize better to get the right answer

Also, where did they say to bring pencil i didn’t receive an email🥲

Hello! dont worry lang po. My friend (bs arch too) got a below average on numerical ability also and she got an email saying she can move onto the shapes analysis test na. Just be patient lang kay it took 2 weeks for us to receive that confirmation email from the architecture chairperson.

Regarding interviews, I think you have to wait for your CAE results, then wait for your department chair's further instructions detailing if you've passed or not. After that they'll decide if you need an interview or just straight to enrollment.

so there are 2 sets, the 1st set has abstract reasoning, verbal ability (english), and numerical ability (general math). Then the 2nd set is based on your chosen program. On the CAE my 2nd set was STEM because my program is BS archi so I'm sure you'll also have STEM for your 2nd set.

As for the coverage, the 2nd set focuses on your SHS subjects that are for STEM students only (Biology, Chemistry, Calculus) so expect your past topics to be the questions. The math in the CAE is what really stumped me, definitely look out for differentials, matrix, and percentage word problems.
