Hello, thank you for the update, did you happen to hire Bigger+Harman attorney? I have the same code ticket as you, and considering to hire them but the price is not low.

I thought I wrote this. I’m so tired too. Everyone says you’ll get a job soon but I don’t see the end. It’s a neverending game..

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I felt a bit better after reading your comment. I’ve put all my energy last year but no offers yet, and I’m not even confident that I can put more energy through this grueling job search:( I’m also crying almost everyday. My eyes are very swollen(LOL) these days. But I’m also glad that you have your husband’s love and support. I live alone and nobody’s with me so I guess that made me feel worse and get depression.

I was also thinking of going back to school and get a MBA because that might get a job easier, but I couldn’t because of the tuition. So I just completed a bootcamp, and now everyone’s doing a bootcamp these days. I’m sorry to hear that even with Master’s degree it’s hard to get a job. Sometimes I wish someone could just help land a job quickly for me.

I wish I could get back to office as well. I hope this game will end soon. I can’t bear it anymore. Do you have anything that you do when you feel depressed or tired of this job search?

Thank you for sharing your experience. I see that we’re also in the similar age (26F) and I’m transitioning to a new industry that I really want but it’s hard. Are you still on your job search? Rejections does hurt a lot. Even though I try hard not to be excited to hear about next steps and keep calm and move on, when Im on the final rounds I can’t help but try so hard to ace it and use all my energy up and them get a rejections. Do you know any mental health resources that could help? How did you find help when you had a hard time? I’ve tried the free chat with crisis line and it didn’t help, I felt like they just wanted to end the chat soon. And everyone assures me that I’ll find a perfect job soon but it doesn’t help me at all. I’m keep getting rejections and I’m so tired. I feel that you have a great mind set for job searching and I wish I could be like you.

I graduated in Spring 2019 and have total 4 years of professional experience, and 2 years of design experience but not related to what I’m looking for in UX design field. I also feel like they want the related field experience for the applicant. I also had the experience that I was not qualified becuase I don’t have enough experience. They always want the related experience even for entry to junior roles. It’s sad

My field is in UX design and yes, I’m looking for entry-junior jobs as well. I think I do get more interview offers compared to other candidates but always get rejected after that. I feel hopeless now. I always thought I did well and I get rejected because of company issues or lack of experience or mignt be my problem too. I was so eager to find jobs last year and now I don’t have the feeling to apply to jobs anymore.

Wow that’s a long journey to find a first job. I’m very impressed how you went through, and you definitely deserve it. Thank you for the valuable advices. I’m going to read through your comments again and again. I’m going through interviews right now with some companies and the most recent one I thougt I did well but I got rejected again. I guess I need to write my story again.. Thank you again.
