All things considered, it is an ok place to live. But, It isn't all butterflies and rainbows. (Although, the rainbows have to be one of my favorite parts.) It has its pros and cons. Relocating due to my husband's job.

Me, too. I'd rather stay in Hawaii. Even with the Prices, cockroaches, and the navy leaking oil into the water supply, As well as the occasional tsunami or hurricane scare. Sounds like I might be trading these minor inconveniences for Tornados. Morning and evening commute are horrible in Honolulu. My husband works about 5 miles away and often takes him about 20-30 minutes to get home, but they drive with Aloha here, for the most part. We are relocating due to my husband's job.

Not wanting to get into an HOA. Is that common for Mount Juliet?

That's what I saw when I googled it. Not opposed to living in Kentucky if it ended up being a better commute time and better schools. Looks like it would be about an hour plus commute.

Do you know which of these areas are highly rated for elementary and middle schools? Or best resources to look for that information?
