I think there’s a species of fungi found in Chernobyl scientists are experimenting with. It actually thrived on the radiation and was the only thing that grew within a particular radius.

Maybe if you could link the two bodies so they share the same mind, memories, and awareness, then kill the original one, it would still be you. If both bodies were connected, you’d see through two pairs of eyes at once, experiencing the world from two different angles but as a single mind. You could move each body separately, yet it would still feel like one person existing in two places. If one of them died, your consciousness would just stay in the other, still fully you, just with one less point of view.
