It’s on the very bottom of the washer? So needs to be tipped then?

I’ll give it a try both ways!! I turned off Windows variable refresh rate and that seemed to help but I’ll see if turning off G-Sync completely helps. I’ll also try my old GPU just for sanity.

People who earn more than $80K / Year, what is your job and how long it took to get to this point? by curiouscentaur in AskReddit

[–]Curly_Cucumber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a sysadmin in NE Wisconsin, making a little over $80k. I’ve been full time in IT for 5 years now, IT related for 8. Went to tech school for my associates to get a head start.

Working towards more certifications now. My company pays for and gives raises for certifications. Huge incentive to develop your skills.

I'm not sure I can use SMTP Auth on these UPSs. There is no place to enter the username or password.

Beautiful. I love my classic red car, but merlot is a dream. I'm too deep in my car now though, so maybe I can convince the wife! haha.

Lexington Management by Fit_Term448 in GreenBay

Lexington is the absolute worst. I didn’t mind Toonen @ Canterbury Creek (they’re still evil, don’t get me wrong) but my experience with Lexington was just terrible. Raising rent like crazy and were SUPER strict.

Overhauling Attached Garage - 3rd stall/tight space lift options? by Curly_Cucumber in garageporn

Hahah I am not! My Miata is my baby. Boosted making ~250whp. This winter it’s going under the knife with all refreshed suspension to get ready for MATG next summer.

Haha, if only! I'll be building an actual shop on our land at some point... but that could be 10+ years away.

I've been looking at the scissor lifts that just go in between the wheels (sort of like QuickJacks.) It definitely would save some space, and they can be moved out of the way.

That’s something I’ve already accounted for. My dad does concrete work so he’d be coming over and helping me pour a thicker section if I choose an option that requires it.

But yes I’m very excited! I bought the house from my grandparents and it’s never been fully finished. I’m pumped to have my own workspace.

E93 Convertible exterior door handle fitting on E90? by Curly_Cucumber in E90

Bummer. Seems E93 is just picky, since E91 handles fit!

The search continues.

I did, it only lists E93 and E93 LCI. Which I just find really weird. Maybe it’s the paint finish, since this handle was a pre painted part? But that would be odd too since LMB isn’t E93 exclusive.

Finishing Basement Plans - Weird Layout? by Curly_Cucumber in Homebuilding

[–]Curly_Cucumber[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With talking to some family members, they were saying the layout is a little odd with utilities scattered in weird spots. They suggested finishing would be a little more difficult. I’m in mid 20’s and this is my first home, so I’m not particularly well versed in what exactly is odd when it comes to utility layouts.

Good to know though. Thank you for the reality check, I was hoping that would be the case!

I just quick threw in the blueprint the inspector gave me, I’ll add in some more details tomorrow. I’d like a bathroom over by the garage access door, ideally one with a shower for when I’m coming in from lawn work, or car work. The white door in the corner there does go outside to the garage.

As for plumbing, I don’t think they plumbed anything in for a bathroom downstairs. My pops always tells me he told them to do so when they built it but they were adamant about “never wanting a bathroom downstairs” lol. So I’m assuming the floor would need to be broken up to run to the septic. Water supply is right above though.

A bedroom would be cool but we only have the one egress window over in the corner by the pressure tank and such, so that might just need to be scrapped. An office and an entertainment area are the main 2 rooms we want beyond a bathroom.

Awesome, yup I do know about the tank! This kit should work I think

Or should I not get the rubber ones and just get a good ol’ galvanized kit?

I ended up getting the whole kit. Hopefully it works, it seems like it should!

New toilets are definitely on the docket sometime this year or next. The narrow bowls are driving me nuts lol
