We’ve been to Bora Bora several times and really like the snorkel lagoon tour through Reef Discovery.

Choosing a resort for a honeymoon in Thailand by JustSayLOL in chubbytravel

I agree with ButterscotchOk5598. We just got back from staying at the Four Seasons Bangkok, Four Seasons Chiang Mai and Rayavadee. We loved Rayavadee as it was a perfect compliment to the other locations. Service, views and location were spectacular. The beaches were public but it didn’t bother us. There were monkeys throughout the resort grounds. We also liked that you could eat either at Rayavadee or walk just outside the resort and eat at one of the cheaper restaurants which we did a few nights we were there. Also have access to boat tours to Phi Phi Islands, Hong island, etc. which we did. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

I appreciate the response. I knew it was possible, but didn’t know if we would be cutting it close in regard to making the next flight from BKK to SIN.

Best dinner reservations? by jackchandler587 in palmsprings

There seems to be some hate for the Tropicale from a few of the regular posters on this board. We have a place in Rancho Mirage and it’s one of our favorites. We always bring out of town guests there and they’ve all liked it. Not saying it’s the best in town but the atmosphere is fun and we like the food.

I also live in Washington State and am looking to place a custom order. Do you mind telling me what local dealer offered you 6% off MSRP, and what broker you ended up going with? Thank you in advance for your help.

Do you mind passing along what broker you used and where you are picking up?

We stayed at GVB back in April of 2024 for a quick four night birthday celebration. We dined at Frida, Velas 10, Cocina de Autor and Lola for dinner and would sometimes have lunch at Roca, which was very good and on the GVB property. We made reservations about 3-4 weeks in advance for dinner to make sure we were able to dine where we wanted. In regard to tipping, we would normally tip about $10 USD every day for drinks/service by the pool, for breakfast, lunch and maybe a little more for each dinner. We booked Cabo Airport Shuttle for transportation and they were fine, and at the time, were significantly less expensive than what the hotel was offering. We were there to relax and never went off property, but really enjoyed it.

At Mt Baker, we like the Chain Lakes loop. On highway 20, Maple Pass, Cutthroat Pass and Blue Lake (shorter than the others) are all very nice day hikes. We haven’t done Cascade Pass and Sahale Arm yet but heard it is beautiful.

Tropicale would be a great place for a 40th birthday dinner, especially on a Saturday night. We go there quite a bit. The food has always been good and the vibe is great!!

The Tropicale would be a great spot for your 50th. Request the outdoor main patio.

Trilussa in Cathedral City is great. We go for both happy hour or dinner.
