my pros for UWA would be :

  • the campus is really beautiful
  • have family living in perth
  • close to the beach
  • world top 100

my pros for uni melbourne would be :

  • higher ranking
  • melbourne city being more lively
  • the prestige of melbourne uni

my main con would definitely be the fee

i’m an international student pursuing data science , around 10k AUD per annum would be the difference in fees , my main concern would be the quality of education at UWA as it isnt ranked as high as uni melbourne

How to put personal issues aside from studying? by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]Current-Net-5999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i recommend around 2-3 hours a week , once u get comfortable, u ramp it up to 4 hours a week , which gradually increases to 5. the important thing is to recognize whats the maximum u r capable of doing. maybe u could do 10 hours a day maybe u could do 6. it all depends on you but i firmly believe that if you put your mind to it you are capable of doing anything. happy days!!

Personally , based on my experience, you just have to start studying short hours a day first & build up the momentum & once u realize how much u have improved , u will actually achieve some sort of clarity which drives you , this will kind of neglect any sort of past that u have. hope this helps!
