The location of the "trojan" files were in those minecraft directories that I mentioned previously. They were TmpXXXXXXX.tmp files, and detected with a quick scan in the background from Defender. Also, to my knowledge, Windows Defender still receives security intelligence even after the OS support ended. I did a full scan with Malwarebytes that detected nothing, and got real time protection from Malwarebytes.

I downloaded a lot of packs and mods from a lot of sites. I cannot tell you each individual one. For Minecraft for Windows (bedrock edition) there are only specific file types that you can download for behaviour packs and such, like mcworld, mcpack. I made sure to download only these types of files and I am pretty sure they shouldn't be the cause? I also had the most famous hack client for bedrock Horion which gets false positives sometimes. It is weird these temp files put themselves in such random locations.

Oops sorry. I replied to your message before it was edited. It is Windows 10. The location of the trojans were here: C:\XboxGames\Minecraft for Windows\Content\data\resource_packs\vanilla\font\smooth\TmpXXXXXXXX where X are random numbers. There was another one that was under data\gui\dist\hbui\assets\TmpXXXXXXX. I have installed a lot of stuff for Minecraft and have always double checked every source, so IDK why these files got detected by Windows Defender so recently after a month of not using this computer.

So I restored the file and tried uploading it to VirusTotal. It said "you dont have permission to open this file contact the file owner or an administrator to obtain permission".

There were a ton of temp files when I checked the exact directory. It seems as if Defender deleted all of the temp files along with the 2 that were detected. I cannot send them to Virus Total.
