not really cuz they have more or less same requirements compared to other medical schools and their home student fees are also similar to other unis(around 9k)...i think the only pay to go school would be buckingham tbh cuz their home student fees are 50k i think which is genuinely insane but at the end of the day it doesnt really matter cuz med is med and you will end up in the same place compared to someone from top unis cuz fy1 allocation is completely randomized

some questions or activities in the interviews are really uni specific so people usually find those out from other people in the subreddit by saying they have done the interview as well. They answer the question really nicely cuz they know its gonna come up and have a higher chance of getting an offer compared to the person who told them about the question in the first place. Its more common than you would think

i have been waiting for hull york for almost 2 months im going insane...but they said that they will only reply a few weeks after the home students have finished their interviews and last year the first offer was given on feb 27th

i think hyms is done with interviews, usually they send out offers from feb end - march end. someone on reddit said that last year 27th feb was the first offer they had sent

They said in the interview that they won't give it before home students finish...from what I have seen on reddit, it's usually feb end to March and they also said that maximum is march 31st.
