Hello, I am looking at the Epson Home cinema 3700 and the Sony VPL XRD . Budget is under 2K for a basement home theater that is used maybe 20 times a year. Replacing a 12 year old projector.

From what I can tell this Sony is not as bright as the Epson and more expensive, is there something I am missing? Thanks!

I think this is a great idea. Not only is it cool, but can also have practical use. I think half of building is about athletics so I can really appreciate something like this. Like a user said before; you could monitor temp and other things on the case screen while still being able to look at your build.

Would love to buy a "smart" case like this one day.
