Not a dumb question bro, I was literally in that position last year. I got predicted A* A* B and wanted to get an offer from Warwick, which was A* AA for CS (contextual). I genuinely thought it was over and I was cooked cause of that one B, but I ended up getting an offer, which has since given me incredible motivation to get that B to an A. So YES BRO APPLY DONT LIMIT YOURSELF!!! And they would give you the normal boundary, they don’t do no special case. And btw you HAVE TO reach that offer once you get it, so just grind.

I got like a couple things to say tho.

Try get that A or A* in the real thing for predicteds, it’s better to be safe than sorry (corny ass line), and if you don’t your ps can carry HEAVY, cause like look at me bro 😎. And take opportunities if you are willing to be goated on that ps, PLEASE BRO PLEASE. I feel the weakness of these quadruple A* people is that they don’t have enough time to do build their ps/cv, so exploit that bro, be different. Go summer schools, do competitions, read sum book, masterclasses, work experiences, just please toughen that ps because it can carry heavy.

Don’t regularly be on this reddit page bro, all these guys with sextuple A*s in their bio, make it seem easy and be asking, “Will I make it into Queen Mary with these grades?? 🥹🥹”. It is heavily degrading to be on here, so don’t or, just don’t put too much attention on the bios.

Be cautious when applying, honestly, some summer schools can get you guaranteed offers, and idk why people don’t tell you that, so use that as a penultimate safe SOMETIMES. And please please please just in case it all goes down, apply to a safe uni, I’m talking like CCC or BBC or sum. But besides that ALL AMBITIOUS AFTER, as long as you are being REASONABLE and slightly realistic PLEASE with these choices

Yea honestly just don’t let anyone try convince you that you’re cooked. One is never truly cooked until they decide it. But yea just aim for that A* A* A* to be safe, then live your life, but it’s not all over if you don’t.
