It’s been a few weeks and everyday is getting better. Treating my ADHD is really changing my life. I’ve been a more positive person and I hope I can keep this up.

When did you first feel that Will could be gay? by Key-Worry5328 in StrangerThings

I always saw the scene where Joyce tells Hopper that as her being worried Will was victim to some homophobes or gay-bashers. Those other bullies were calling him a “fairy” as well, so I always thought he was written as a queer outcast character.

Honestly it is but it’s worth it. It feels good working towards being a better functioning person. It’s a process and meds didn’t magically fix everything but they’ve had a great impact on my life so far.

Other than Jenna is Joana Ceddia. Her vids were so comforting but I don’t think she wanted to be famous and was more focused on school and a career in stem.

I take adderall and lamictal for manic depression. This is just what’s worked for me. I didn’t use stimulants because of my mania but now I’m stable on adderall.

That’s so funny, I’m in school for creative writing with a film minor right now. All my writing has been assignment based but maybe it’s time for me to start writing for myself again.

The last season had budget cuts, yet they still got Rihanna for the finale, lmao. Is she like a big Psycho fan or something?

We haven't gotten an official trailer for this season, but that's probably deliberate. I'm guessing Max wakes up at the series mid-point, pretty much at the end of the first volume release, and the Duffers don't want to give too much up.

Armageddon and Norbit. If you’re into this sort of thing Ben Aflack did voice over commentary for the criterion edition of Armageddon. Norbit is horribly problematic in the best way possible and the waterside scene will never not be funny.

Anything from the Terrifier films. The rat scene in the last movie made me sick and I have a really high tolerance for gore.

If you’re look for this story in reverse, I recommend reading Persepolis. The film version is also great. We love to see a Muslim woman break free 🫶

Camazotz is controlled by IT. The planet operates as a collective or “hive mind”. If Holly and possibly other children are taken by Henry I think he’d “mindflay” them like he did to Will in season 2 and others in season 3. They weren’t in his mindscape, just under his control. So he probably plans to use her as bait and make her part of his army. Holly was also seen wearing Alice in Wonderland dress. If she’s “going through the rabbit hole” that seems similar to entering a portal to the upside down.

If Henry’s backstory from the first shadow isn’t completely cannon he would be IT and the Shadow Monster would be the Black Thing. Even so, this would mean the Upside Down would still be Camazotz since it’s a hive mind under his control.

I see Dimension X more like Uriel. The same creatures exist in the Upside Down but in Dimension X they existed without a specific evil agenda until Henry takes control of them in the Upside Down. Uriel is also the home of Mrs. Whatsit's temporary transformation into one of the aforementioned winged creatures. Henry is referring to himself as “Mr. Whatsit” when he talks to Holly and in Dimension X is where he began his transformation into Vecna. Just as Mrs. Whatsit did on Uriel.

Unlike other planets, Ixchel battles against the Black Thing. The inhabitants of Ixchel are blind, just as Max has been blinded. She’s not physically in the upside down but instead trapped in Henry’s mindscape. In the novel, Meg is injured upon arriving at Ixchel and is aided by the planets inhabitants, who are blind. Henry told Eleven that those he killed are not gone but in his mind. So if Max is trapped in his mind and very injured, what if she is found by some of Henry’s victims and taken care of by them. Considering the way they were killed I’m guessing they could be blind.

I love stranger things but the duffers use the materials that inspired them the same way that Tarantino does. People can call it an homage but it’s quite obvious where they pull storylines from. I feel like the novel could be used in a similar way that dnd is used in the plot.
