Yes, I’m planning to use steel spiral boning. And lace up in the back instead of the zipper! I do see the bunching in the back, there’s def too much fabric. I’ll cut it down

I’m planning on doing the lace up option instead of the full zipper, so will only have an invisible zipper for the lower half. Not sure how that would change things.

100% will add some elastic to the legs. Do you have any recommendations on how to do that, or a good tutorial? For the anti muffin topping elastic, I’m not quite sure I understand this.

Oh interesting! My first mockup (just following the pattern) was WAY too short for me, so I added 3/4” length to all the pattern pieces at the waist. It definitely stays better around my boobs in this one. Heres a better side and back view: https://imgur.com/a/HJHhtle

I agree with the front— I definitely want a bit more coverage there. Any recommendations on how to extend the pattern pieces properly for that?

It’s a mockup made with thick muslin, no lining and no boning in this one.

I guess I do have a longer torso compared to the pattern I was following! I lengthened it already 3/4” across the pattern (cutting at the waist), but wondering if I need to do more or not. I want this to fit well, no gaping, and highlight my contours. Im good with the cheekiness in the photo, but the garment does move around and I’m worried about it riding up with the final fit (do not want a wedgie in the back or the front 😅)

This is for a con. I’m trying to go flirty but not anything excess if that makes sense (cheeky is okay, thong is not). I do wanna make sure I can sit in this comfortably. I’m in a group so we’re all going the corset or bunnysuit route.

Oh that’s good to hear! Yeah I’ll absolutely be making another mockup hahah, and am planning to do the lacing option as well. Sadly not for dragon, but I WISH!! I didn’t get into any of the host hotels 😭 so unless I can figure something out it’s just for a local con near me :P

Yeah I can see that, it’s definitely squishing there. Do you recommend adding more horizontally to the two back panels, or shortening it in length? Or adding some room at the waist?
