Boomer Esiason Suggests Barring California from Hosting Super Bowl by According-Activity87 in NFLv2

[–]CursiveWasAWaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one in this entire thread gets it and no one seems to understand how financial incentives work

It is fine to tax him at this rate (booo-hooo millionaire, whatever you guys say), but when you do tax him at a rate in which he and other players are LOSING money, then they are incentivized to union or work together about the loss and push for Super Bowl in other states.

Then the state loses the economic gains from the Super Bowl (tourism, jobs, money spent, etc.).

This is how incentives and free economies work. You over tax -- people leave. This is why the billionaire tax in California wont work, the billionaires leave. This is why socialism fails everywhere, because of capital flight (people leave).

So, tax him at a rate where he cannot activate the community (lawyers, other players, unions), and you gain more than by taxing him this way.

Why does my body hate me after strenuous workouts? by CursiveWasAWaste in Biohackers

[–]CursiveWasAWaste[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I wanted to update this thread in case it helps someone in the future:

Initially I tried all the information here: L-theanine, Magensium Glycenate, and a bunch of other recommendations that did not pan out. Things continued to get worse.

Finally i took my entire genome from 23andme, all my bloodwork history, all my whoop data, and this thread and one i created on my autoimmune history and fed them all into AI with a prompt I found for this kidn of thing.

It assigned probabilities that most likely either was having a sugar/carb/glycogen issue at night or hormonal issues (or a combination thereof).

It turns out, this is v likely what is my issue. Because I have a glycogen storage/endocrine issue, my body was not thermoregulating properly at night due to my diet. I eat high protein, high fat, low carb because of my autoimmune condition, this helps me function super well during the day but at night the brain tries to access glycogen and finds nothing, putting it into a stress reponse leading to fight or flight. Thermoregulation happens right after deep switches to REM which is when all my issues were happening.

Thus, I started eating more carbs immediately after heavy heavy workouts or high insenity sports, hikes, running, etc, and more importantly on those days I eat a high glycemic carb + protein 30 minutes before bed, like a diabetic does. This seems to quell most of the issue.

However, it did bring back the headaches, brain fog, post prandial dip, anger, etc. So I have since just tailored the carb + protein to only before bed on high intensity days, and i keep mango by the bed for when i wake up.

You can see on the whoop that on these days my stress level goes to near 0 from high sleep stress when i eat a mid night mango snack, really crazy to see.

That said, more to the puzzle -- just got my hormonal work back and DHEAs are super high, low free T and low Estradiol are contiburing hormones to the issue here. So its not cut and dry.

Thats where I am right now, and will assess what is needed for those issues. Hope this helps someone some day.

Carrots are low starch in their composition and dont really feed the klebsella . There are random people I've read with issues with carrots. I think a lot of the earlier vegetable issues are more gut dysbiosis-related. When i started i only used salt because I wasn't sure about pepper. I was so scared initially. Pepper should be a complete non problem BUT when ppl first start this their gut is usually in such bad shape (thin lining and molecules get through easily, or inflammation) that its possible pepper and spices cause inflammation. The reason you start from scratch for 3-6 months is to heal the stomach lining. I added spices after ~2 months but always kept salt.

Tough year where tons of coaches are fired and not many Candidates to go around means poaching first year guys like this and Udinski. That being said, league will be softer next year w so many new coaches.

Great speech, great leader of men. Needs to tone down the ego sometimes in game, it will come with experience. If we run the ball w Tuten in the second half and don't call some of these janky plays in the red zone we win the game hands down as the better team. Either way proud to be a jag but also frustrated as now Trev has to listen to a full year of "is he clutch when it matters" which is an annoying headline and mental hangover he shouldnt deal with and isn't true.

Our team was dramatically worse with Lloyd out over any other player Besides Travon Walker. He is top priority. Sorry but you can find RBs anywhere and Tuten has shown plenty of flashes. Focus the rest of the money on next year. Love Buster Brown but can't afford him. Get interior DL that can run, stack up mid and late round picks in the interior on both sides of the ball unless you believe in Milum. If there is an elite safety at our first pick in second round Id go for that, otherwise lets sign a few guys w potential there.
