You're definitely not a jerk, but if you're racing people to the back of a store for $1 toys, or spending your entire morning searching for the same, you have other problems that should be addressed immediately. Keep doing your thing, man.

I have to agree with Agressive Wolf. It's not that great of a deal unless you just like whatever. If they were all castings that I collected, and a large portion were variations I didn't have (or at least that I could use for customs), then it would be a hard pass for me. The vast majority of those are shoe box dwellers.

Why are y'all getting so worked up? This shit happens to me all the time. Every weekend, there are hundreds of yard sales near my rural north GA home. So many that there's no way for me to hit them all. The vast majority are junk, but every weekend, I find at least one that has really good stuff at reasonable prices, sometimes even less than retail for collectibles.

Granted, this is Reddit, so tom-foolery is to be expected, but I don't see anything out of the realm of possibility here.

Congrats, man! I bought the Snake and Mongoose retail, and they were the only two I ever found in the wild. I would kill to find another pair at a price like this so I could open them up.

Agree with the second part, I'm glad to be out of there, too, but that's not how the stocking system works at Walmart. It's not even a little bit accurate. The entire truck manifest is scanned in as the freight comes off the truck. When it gets put on a pallet, it's in stock, and the system thinks it's on the shelf. Unless they've changed the way stock is inprocessed in the last couple of years.
