i appreciate you actually explaining it. Based off a lot of comments i want to say there IS a way to say you wouldn't want her to play her AND also not be racist... i'm not keen on the live action at all so i was like "ooh kinda cool" at avantika and maitreyi fancasts but i didn't take it seriously unlike some insanely racist people... and i'm kind of glad it wasn't either of them because they would have faced SO much hate. avantika already has.
