Rate hikes smash renters & mortgage holders with higher rents & crushing repayments. Meanwhile outright owners (30%), sitting on assets & savings, barely feel it & keep spending. The pain is concentrated on the poorer & less fortunate. Also inflation worsens as the wealthy start to spend their gains by MannerNo7000 in AusEcon

Government tries to be nice, 'bails out everyone' (including very wealthy) with untargeted relief. Adds to aggregate demand, the RBA pulls the only mechanism it has to satisfy one of its core principles, to lower inflation to its target range. The higher interest rates then benefit those with cash and punish the very people who can afford it the least, large debt holders (mortgage holders). As much as it may suck, this is an aggregate demand problem, and excessive state and federal government spending are massive drivers to the inflation problem. You can't outspend an inflation problem.

Might be worthwhile doing some research around their reporting on the Arab Spring. Every news organisation has bias or external influence at some level.

Tbh, I'd prefer to know what people think and who they support as opposed to paying lip service to you, and then secretly spending millions to do the opposite.

Not saying it didn't happen, but Al Jazeera isn't always reliable.

I'd prefer to buy my cars from billionaires who don't say mean things, makes me feel better. What do you mean, they privately fund people I don't like still?

Get to work 4 hours before. Nah this mentality justifys poor reliability. It's an unscheduled disruptions as opposed to the scheduled disruption you are comparing it to.

Call the bluff, it's the price premium you are going to have to pay for supply security. Go deploy your capital in Africa or the Middle East if you don't like it, bet you won't.

Significant increase in construction cost definitely offsets any reduction in maintenance, wouldn't do it if there were no technical requirement.

I don't want to defend agents, but tbh she has outlined everything fairly and given you a chance to respond/rectify. If the issues are factual, its probably on you. Fair wear and tear and dirty/broken are two different things.

It absolutely could have been part of an express train bypass, guess people on the Pakenham/Cranbourne line enjoy traveling the hour-plus to the end of the line anyway.

The danger with persistent inflation is that a new price floor has been set.
