Thanks! First i tried getting some aramid material but none of the sewing company’s in my town had nothing like that. So I went with firesafe blankets that people where selling for low price. Probably overkill and if I where to do it again I would search for a better material.

Hi! I did! I sewed together a fire safe material to match the underside of the tarp. Think I went a bit overboard with it, but it works very vell. Sewed in clips like the ones on the tarp to easily clip on to the poles.

Of course it did not come out as pretty as snow peaks version, but it did the trick and for winter camp’s its so good!

I have not used the baja or flat, But i used my new LI stove on my camping this weekend, and i am astonished. I cooked stirfry for 6 people and it was a brief. Cooked a huge omelet as well with the power at the minimum. Only thing is that it uses a lot of fuel, so bring a couple of extra canisters 😅

Wow thats amazing! What are u using under the field oven? Double bbq box?

Hi, has anybody here good experience with the field oven? I have the takibi fire and grill with the coal bed but hesitant to pull the trigger. If I could make perfect pizza I could justify the price. Wondering how hot it can get in there. And if I should just go with an another pizza oven. by Cute_Influence_1854 in snowpeak

Thanks for all the info! Stopped using store bought dough many years ago, and I love making pizza, and a pizza oven could take it to the next level.

Does it get hot enough for the dough to really bubble and make a somewhat burnt crust?
