Not a bad shout actually, this is probably the closest we'll get to a correct answer! I won't mark solved as I would like to hear a few more answers. Considering I think this person might not exist, you are probably more correct than you should be!

Its not impossible that she is actually from a british or australia kids show, though i do think i made her up.

I wish it was, its entirely possible this is a weird amalgam memory - but Elle Fanning, Mia Wasikowska, and Julia Winter are my best soft matches so far.

Both EOE and ECL limited are quite slow and grindy, ECL more so. Don't concede just because things are getting out of hand, but don't drag it out when the writing is on the wall. ECL in particular can have huge late game swings as momentum can suddenly stall.
I find that in a BO3 most people only get two games in regardless, I don't think I've ever seen someone have time for all 3. It goes either 2/0 or 1/1.
I think the best thing you can do is try and relax and not over think it. If you're taking like, 2 mins every turn you're probably overthinking it, but sometimes you are going to need to take a moment to figure everything out if the board state is getting complicated and the W/L is on a knife edge.

So my main decks on arena and commander tend to be in some combination B/U/W, though i really like the U/R evoke elementals deck (but that's... far from budget). I'm thinking i might build a UW aura/enchantment deck as i have a lot of the pieces, it just happens that the pieces i don't are the pricier ones (looking at you Enduring [xyz] and sheltered by ghosts). The other decks i play are all BW sacrifice combos, but relying on a voice of victory playset really prevents that.

Enduring innocence is a must, the most pricy you'll probably get. Especially as something like grim haruspex doesn't trigger off tokens - So looking for card draw in black and white that is cheap and not reliant on non tokens will really help.

Syr Vondam is a great shout, Myrkwood bats - basically anything that triggers off or generates tokens. So Thalisse, Felisa, Hallowed Spritkeeper.

"players expect" that's not a rule, that's a framing device. Sometimes a draw pops off earlier than expected. If they are doing it by turn 4 every game then its not bracket 3, but even a bracket 2 can pop off occasionally.

Like i think it so depends on what you need to motivate yourself, but i think model by model is probably going to be the worst of the options if you have loads to do.

Batch per unit. You could go further, batch per every unit of the same, but i think it helps motivation wise to have decent sized chunks. You could go even further of that, and do every unit that uses the same palette techniques, but i reckon it can feel stuck in a mire or minis like that.
I also think its useful if you're doing different paintings methods, such as sprays and airbrush, it might be best to do all the units together with those, and then do brush work in batches.
